Rainsoft gear stripped

Hello,
I have a old (1998ish) Rainsoft AM24 conditioner that hasn't been working for the past couple months. I checked the transformer... 26 volts on it, all the relays appear to be fine, but it wasn't making any noise and wouldn't move at all. I took everything apart and checked the motor while it was detached from the "transmission" box. It runs fine. I took the gear box apart and found that the gears were jammed. There are five gears inside the box: 2 metal gears and 3 smaller plastic gears. The drive order appears to be motor shaft to fine toothed plastic gear to a courser toothed plastic gear to a second courser toothed gear (this one is stripped on the bottom-11 tooth side) to a metal gear to a larger metal gear that the cam shaft is on. I called RS and took forever trying to explain to them the gear that I needed. When they finally understood what i needed they said that they couldn't get the part. They can only replace the entire $160 motor assembly. Does anyone no where I can find this one plastic gear?

@QuickPuppy,
Are you talking about the clock motor?

It has two white wires coming off one end
and a brass gear sticking out of the other end.

@H2O MAN,
I don't think so... it's the motor that runs the shaft (that has the brass pin holding it on) that the two white cams are on that raise/lower the piston and brine valves.

@QuickPuppy,
It does have two white wires that converge into one white wire that attaches to one post on the motor. There is also a blue wire attached to the other motor post. This whole assembly is behind the box houses the timer and behind the white cams. It sits over the piston/valve on top of the media tank. If I can figure out how to post a pic I will shortly.
