You mean, record a verbal reading of it?

That sounds like a lot of work.

@Cycloptichorn,
Depends on the lenght of the text.

If it's a short text, it's quite easy..

(I'm not qualified to verbally do it but the technical part is ok..)

@Cycloptichorn,
I want an audio recording of what i have written.
Well, i don't know if it's a lot of work but if you talk english as your first language it would take about 5-10 minutes to record the text i think.

@Francis,
Why?
Is it hard to record a text?
The english in the text is correct

@The-swede,
Have you tried to record a 1000 words text in Swedish?

If so, I'll exchange your Swedish recorded text with an English one of the same lenght.

But you'll probably be disappointed with my French accent..

@The-swede,
I'd be delighted to help you if only to have my dulcet mellifluous consonance recorded for posterity to marvel at in fawning wonderment.

@The-swede,
My thick Boston accent would make it difficult to understand. Many of my coworkers and friends sometimes can't decipher some of my speech. So, I can't volunteer myself without messing the whole project up.

In this article, titled How Many Words in a Five-Minute Speech?:
Quote:
Most estimated the number of words per minute around 80-150, but some said it could be as high as 180.

http://www.presentationmagazine.com/how-many-words-in-a-five-minute-speech-3467.htm

Let's take 100 words per minute as the means from this statement. Your assignment would involve at least 10 minutes of flawless reading. Considering no one here is a professional reader, it will most likely take more then one try to get a decent recording where every word is recorded and understandable with playback.

It's a great idea if you can somehow bring an incentive to the project for someone.

@The-swede,
I'd do it, but I've been told I have a rather thick Austrian accent.

the-swede, I'm American and an English teacher. I'll help, if I can figure out how to work the software. Can you link to the text?

The-swede:

Francis knows many languages; he made an offer several posts back, you'd be smart to consider it.
