My partner is looking for a game that he played in about 1974, in Australia.
It is a cycling game, featuring 4 Olympic Cylists, which had magnets on the bottom. They went around on an oval track. He thinks it may have been battery operated as well. He is driving me crazy, trawling the internet for it, to no avail.
Can anybody please help?

@djjd62,
Already tried that site. Not there.
I tell you he is driving me balmy. He gets me to check every day.
Somebody - please help. Apparently it's not a board game.

Any possibility of it being similar to those old vibrating electrical games we had in that era? The ones I remember were football teams and the players were magnitized and moved around on a metalic board by the board being vibrated with a buzzer.

Found them! They're made by Tudor and they're actually from the '60's. There were football, hockey, and track versions of them.

Here are a few images I found by searching for Tudor electrified games:

I then did a search for electrified board games olympics cyclists and found this image:

Are we getting any closer?

Scalextic toys were very popular in the 70's in Australia. I thought just cars.
The pic bfly has shown is of modern cyclists.

Was this game styled around Austalian Olympic cyclists from the 1972 summer olympics? Did it have an Australian theme?

Silver medals 1972 olympics
# John Nicholson — Cycling, Men's 1.000m Sprint (Scratch)
# Danny Clark — Cycling, Men's 1.000m Time Trial
# Clyde Sefton — Cycling, Men's Individual Road Race

@dadpad,
He thinks it is an Olympic theme. It had a yellow oval track. It was based on 4 olympic riders from 4 different countries. He knows 1 was Australian & one was Canadian. He thinks the other 2 were English & French.
