Is there any way to delete my old posts?
You can edit your old posts, but you can only delete your post if it's the last one on the thread. You could replace the text with "post deleted" or some such. The post will then say "last edited by kickycan on x date and time."

I was wondering about the same thing... what do you mean by "the last one of on the thread"?
Your post of 10:15 could have been deleted by you, but not anymore. I posted after your post. As mac noted, you can edit both the header and contents. It's only considered an unfair practice if someone has replied to your (possibly) controversial post. If you do that, you will be called on it, of course
Edited to note that the poster of the most recent comment has a box with an X in it at the upper right corner of the posting. Click that to delete. Also, if you edit immediately, it is not edited. Edit after subsequent posts, and the number of edits are indicated in a corner of the comment box.
and that wasn't clear enough, i can delete this post until someone posts, then i can only edit it.
