With the world going in the direction it is why should the future be friendly? Why can't there be Big Brothers, world controllers, and firemen that burn books?

Not sure what you're asking exactly. In what direction does the world need to be going so that the future will be friendly?
the answer is simple, an immediate ban on procreation, with no more children born, the words problems would sort themselves out quite nicely by the end of this generation
