Boycott Walmart (long overdue)

I shop every month at Walmart for food, I spend over 200 dollars each month there, but, not no more... Considering they support governor Walker in Wisconsin and have contributed their fitly rich opulence toward the anti union Republicans, I can no longer support Walmart. I am just one person but oh well, they are not getting my money any longer. The "Shop and Save" is only a few blocks away from me and closer than Walmart.

I trusted Walmart and their hiring policy of helping often disabled people to work in their stores. Now I know this was just a front.

@RexRed,
That's quite a list of products to boycott on your link, including products made by Georgia-Pacific. The Wisconsin Teachers’ Union pension fund holds investments in Georgia Pacific so your efforts might be defeating the very thing you're trying to promote.

All records pertaining to the Wisconsin PEUs are available online (usually in .pdf form), so you might want to double check the info against that boycott list before you encourage others to follow suit.

I was warned but I am a sucker for cheap things. Wish I was not so far behind the curve.

I have a Wal-Mart fairly close to my home. I only shop there when I need something that I can't find elsewhere. The reason that I don't shop there more often, is that I find many things about the experience aversive.

I am not into the political issues surrounding the store. No one is forced to work there.

Coming to a state near you. Now Walmart can have sweat shops and underpaid child labor right here in the USA.

I wonder who lobbied our lawmakers for this down turn of workers rights? A silent minority of greedy billionaires perhaps?

You heard it here, the "patriotic" tea party has gone bonkers. Just because average people don't agree with their dictatorial oligarchy. And I thought I had a big filthy gutter mouth. Smile

What about Walker's hired thugs that are mere vigilantes not police.
