May peace be to everyone
These days, public in some countries are venting out long subdued frustaions and authorities are using power to silence them. A stich in time would have saved these countless untimely stiches.
Basically, as one understands, it is the lack of righteousness and ignoring the commandments of God which is resulting in mayhem. Contrary to Islamic teaching, which requires from chiefs of the people to serve their people, heads of these nations continue to mistreat their people. These rulers do not care to pay rights of people and rights of God.
Who should oversee and guide these leaders to righteousness. Religious leaders are in quite abundance in these countries. But they do not bother to raise their voice against cruelities. Some of them still live in their imaginary world where the world is still ‘flat’ and will remain so. Others are neutralized by gifts of share of power. Rests of them run regular political parties with armed wings. They aim to occupy the thrown. It does not matter if thrown’s pillars are missing. By and large, calling toward goodness and reminding people to stay away from evil does not seem to be on their agenda.
Once, Muslims were distributing scientific knowledge to the world. But today, many Islamic coutries are not doing well in economic, agriculture, science and technology because of lack of proper guidance, will and infrastructure. If any of their countriers is blessed with natural resources, their leaders keep earnings in foreign banks. They do not help their poor. They are horrified and scatterd under the awe of evil forces.
Some people among them suggest the system of Khilafat should be developed. Idea is fair enough but it can not be achieved according to their wishes. Because the Holy Prophet (may peace and blessings be upon him) foretold a different way. He prophecied the following eras or happenings:
a) Era of Prophethood.
b) Khilafat after it, on the precept of Prophethood.
c) Tyrannical monarchy.
d) Monarchical despotism.
e) Khilafat on the precept of Prophethood.

Let’s see what the part (e) is about. It is about current era. When explaining the verse 4 of chapter 62 [ And (among) others from among them who have not yet joined them…], the Holy Prophet placed his hand on the shoulder of a companion Salman of Persia and said that when faith would ascend to Pleidas, men or a man from these would bring it back. (ref: Bukhari).
Obviously, in here, the Holy Prophet has foreteld that a time would come for Islam when followers would show weakness. Then God would send a Persian descendant servant of Holy Prophet for revival.
The Holy Prophet (the Chief of all prophets, the last law-bearing prophet with last Book) tells in his other prophecies about the coming of Messiah as Mahdi. (ref: Ibne Maja). He would be a prophet [ref: Muslim; Holy Prophet called him Prophet of God, four times.... In Holy Quran, God informs that four spiritual stations are for those who obey Him and the Holy Prophet viz, the prophets, the truthful, the martyr and the righteous. (4:70) -- Hence, the reformer is a subordinate prophet]. The metaphoric property Messiah signifies that he will not use force and metaphoric property Mahdi means he would be guided by God......Then his Khilafat would start, as mentioned in part (e) above. [ ‘e) Khilafat on the precept of Prophethood.’ ]
In short, the Holy Prophet gave glad tidings that when faith would get weakened, God would send a beloved of him, on his name who would revive the faith peacefully, under divine guidance, and his mission would continue via his Khilafat.
Curently, exactly according to the prophecies, only Ahmadiyya Khilafat [ Search Words: Ahmadiyya alislam Khilafat ] is colouring the spiritual canvas after the appearance of the Promised Massiah and Mahdi, as they believe. God does not allow false claim to flourish (69: 45-48). Since last 100 plus years, despite collective wordly persecutions, they have been able to take peaceful message of Holy Prophet to 198 countries with translations of Holy Quran and services to humanity, under the guidance of Khilafat. Currently 5 th Khalifah leads millions peaceful, peace-lovers who strive to spread divine peace with divine help only. The promised blessings of Khilafat continue:
Allah has promised to those among you who believe and do good works that He will surely make them Successors in the earth, as He made Successors (from among) those who were before them; and that He will surely establish for them their religion which he has chosen for them; and that He will surely give them in exchange security (and peace) after their fear: they will worship Me, (and) they will not associate anything with Me. Then whoso is ungrateful after that, they will be the rebellious. (24:56)

Khilafat reinstated in latter days era for revival of faith BUT How did the peaceful divine message continued its survival in eras of weakness.?
Peace be upon everyone….To get answer to above question, please note that it is mentioned at the end of original post that God has promised the grant of Khilafat to believers who do good deeds. It is the verse 56 of chapter # 24, Surah al-Noor. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be on him and all prophets) prophesied about coming of eras of:
a) Prophethood.
b) Khilafat after it, on the precept of Prophethood.
c) Tyrannicl monarchy.
d) Monarchail desposition.
e) Khilafat on the precept of Prophethood.

Era a) was time of Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.). Era b) was righteous Khilafat him. Era c) and d) was of basically the kingships and the era e) is the current era when a subordinate Prophet (with spiritual title of Messiah and Mahdi) promised by God (Ref-62:4) and Holy Prophet (Ref-Bukhari, Muslim and others) appeared and after him, the Khilafat is working (Ref- alislamDOTorg).
What happened to the real peaceful message of God during the eras of kingships i.e era mentioned in c) and d) above ?
I believe, The Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.) also told about the coming of Reformers or Revivalists at the beginning of each century. (Ref- Abu Da’ud). These were local Revivors called Mujad-de-din (Mujaddid is a person who revives). None of them was for all world. They appeared everywhere and struggled to clean religious innovations which crept in faithful. They took the message of God to places.
Their coming stopped when era e) started, after a promised Prophethood, the promised Khilafat began. Looking at the situation of world, one can feel, the day by day unified peaceful progress of those faithful who are under the Khalifah ……versus those who are not and are in the clutches of divergence and helplessness.

"Faith" is exactly what unelected despots utilise whether it be religious or personal.
Do you not see that your own personal "mission" to be publicise your version of dogma is complicit in the perpetration the failure of democracy ?

Faith moves on with rationality. Revelation illumines minds. Believer is required to ponder on nature too, according to the Holy Quran.
Current Khilafat started / elected in 1908, now 5th Khalifah in office.
It is their basic principle not to get indulge in politics.
Aim is to advise and educate followers in orderly manner to be the best peaceful citizens of their countries of living and to be the human who pay rights to God and rights to people, as what is wanted by the Holy Prophet.
This version of dogma is not self-made, as mentioned in posts. That is the way, what God and Holy Prophet wants. Had it been human made ploy, it would have ended since long, in the face of gross persecutions by collected fanatics.

psychological belief systems, whether they involve the alleged words of so-called "prophets", or the political writings of totalitarians, tend to be pernicious at the level of
social structure. Whatever celestial points you think you may earning by pushing your particular bunch of stories is antithetical to your objective of seeking "peace".
The reason you lack this ability to understand this simple sociological fact is that your concept of "yourself" is predicated on your idiosyncratic religious history. You are frightened to lose this "self" with its vested interest in being a "follower". But real "freedom" and "peace" comes from the transcendence of such cultural conditioning.
So, no doubt you will continue write "self-reinforcing"
unread regurgitations rather than think for yourself ! And, you always have the "don't listen to the devil" clause to fall back on, don't you !

I can guarantee that every caliphate indulged in politics. I can also guarantee that they considered the concept of 'it being their basic principle not to indulge in politics' as a convenient idea to help control the ignorant masses (no doubt they added 'for their own good' as a sop to justify their irritated consciences).
Your fear is contrary to basic philosophy of the subordinate-Prophet. That is why your guarantee is already expired.

1= Please note that “Caliphate” is different than “Khilafat”. In Arabic, Khalifah means successor, deputy or vicegerent and Khilafat is his domain of institution. In English Caliph means chief civil and political ruler regarded as successor of Holy Prophet and Caliphate is the respective domain of work.. In Holy Quran, the word Khalifah has wider connotations than Caliph.
2= As mentioned above, Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.) told about the:
a) era of Prohethood, and b) after it Khilafat on the precept of Prophethood.
Then two types of kingships were foretold and after that:
e) era of khilafat on the precept of Prophethood was mentioned.
In era a) the Prophethood means Prophethood of the Holy Prophet. It so happened that God granted both physical and spiritual governments to Holy Prophet. Thus naturally in era b) the “Khilafat on the precept of Prophethood” did have same aspects of physical and spiritual leadership.
Now coming to era e) of Khilafat on the precept of Prophethood. ...About this Prophet, words has been given above. (subordinate, Messianic Mahdi). Among other qualities which Holy Prophet mentioned about this subordinate Prophet, it is said: “He will distribute wealth but no one will accept it” (Bukhari)……What kind of wealth that might be, which people would hestitate to accept? Obviously, it is spiritual wealth. Thus, the Holy Prophet was metaphorically telling that subordinate Prophet would have no relation with physical aspects of leadership.
This subordinate Prophet to Holy Propet wrote in a poem:
Country is not my aim, not I am for wars
Not area, my purpose is to win hearts.
[ Spiritual Treasures, volume 21]
His second Khalifah [ who was the promised-son, and who developed all major systems of the community] wrote: “ Khalifah is to oversee the work of whom he represents, that is why Khulafa (plural of Khalifah) of Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) were assigned to take care of country and religion because Allah had granted to Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) worldly and spiritual kingdoms, both. But the Promised Messiah ( one of the title of subordinate Prophet of this time), through whom the (spiritual power of) elegance of Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h.) manifested was to be spiritual king only. That is why his Khulafa would be of that kind.”

With above belief and philosophy in practice, now it is the time of Fifth Khilafat, community has already spread in 198 countries.
People of all races and all walks of life are in the community, including a (late) Chief Justice of International Court of Justice and a (late) Physics Nobel Laureate (1979-Unification of Fundamental Forces).
Community continues to get advice on all issues, to be good God loving / fearing human. Advice from Khalifah can be heard and seen by anyone on MTAi.
One can guarantee, humbly with trust on God, that your fear is not correct; Philosophy is mentioned above. The subordinate Prophet has set the course for community for glory of real peaceful Islam:
Country is not my aim, not I am for wars
Not area, my purpose is to win hearts.
On the precept of this subordinate Prophetic guidance, his Khilafat is spiritual and has no political ambitions; simply cannot go against the master.
