Another reason I'd go with DC- they partnered with Milestone Comics, an African-American owned publisher, and later bought the Milestone properties.
DC stuff is more flesh-out and developed. With the exceptions of a few characters like Spider-Man and Wolverine, Marvel stuff just seems cheesy and watered-down and with not a not of thought put into it.

and of course you know this because you have a huge collection of comic books and read them regularly
oh wait

I don't read or collect them-I read about them through Previews or Wizard Magazine or through websites. I got a few books from Free Comic Book day.
i guess not
@djjd62,
I have read a handful of them so what does that have to do with anything?
@djjd62,
I have read some DC and Marvel books on occasion and compared them.
DC comic books are pretty good to read. I like Green hornet and Superman Scooby Doo.
@gursikh11,
DC stuff for the most part is more realistic and flesh-out. Most of the stuff Marvel does is cheesy and underdeveloped, and extremely overrated.

So, I take it that if you ever actually complete this imaginary project you're supposedly working on, you will take it to Marvel.
@Sturgis,
I HATE MARVEL - MARVEL SUCKS.
I would rather pitch my stuff to DC - my material would be a good fit for the DC/Warner Bros. cartoon universe.
