Changing the name on a web link

How do you change a web link so that it an identifying phrase instead of www.whereever.etc? I see you guys do it all the time but I can't figure it out...

You should use the post rep[ly button instead of quick reply, then click the button "URL" then paste in the link, and on the next prompt the text for the link
