If you notice that the last option in your poll is consistently missing it's because you forgot to add the last option. Typing it in the add option field won't add it to the poll until you press "add option".
It looks a bit confusing I know and I'll eventually change this but until then you can always edit your post to add the poll option.
Also, if you add options after people have started answering the poll, remember to add them at the end of the poll. If you add them in the middle (because you want things to remain in alphabetical or some other order), the votes will stay where the option originally was, so it will appear as if people voted for whatever you've just typed there, rather than what they originally selected.
For example:
Original Poll
What's your favorite number?
A - 1 (5 votes)
B - 3 (7 votes)
Then you add 2 as an option and change it to
Altered Poll
What's your favorite number?
A - 1 (5 votes)
B - 2 (7 votes)
C - 3 (0 votes)
The 7 votes for the selection that was in the second spot will stay there, even though you'd changed the option.
Once a thread is started, can a poll be included? How?
In the Western Gathering thread, North American topic, I'd like to add a poll for people to express their preferences for when the Gathering should be scheduled. How do I do it?
Asherman- Go to your first post in the Western Gathering Thread. Click "edit". After your original post there is a place for your poll.
Thank you Phoenix, it worked perfectly.
