Help translating a hindi/ indian word please

My boyfriend is of indian heritage and often calls me a word which if I spell phontetically is "jupella". He says it roughly translates to "baby" in English. I wanted to address a valentines card using this word but cannot find it anywhere. I have looked up all the English terms of endearment I think of in an English- Hindi translator but have not come across anything that looks or sounds anything like it. I am now wondering what it is he's been calling me all this time Wink. If anybody recognises it and could tell me what it means and how to write it in hindi or point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated, thanks.

@isayhello,
Hindi, along with English, is my first language, and I've spoken it all my life, but I've never heard of this word. Not even something remotely close to it. Perhaps, it belongs to another one of hundreds of languages spoken in the country.

Best to ask your BF.
