Rain soft Q2 system

Submersible pump went last nite Removed and replaced.
Must have happened when regenerating as salt containers has water.
After replacing well pump, I reengaged the bypass valve and pressure is very
low when passing through the Amazon Q system . Much iron water and dirt detected while bleeding new well pump. Do I have a clogged inlet screen?
Sure acts like it.

@Andrew Ferguson,
First I'd check the system to see if piston is actually moving (white cams turning and all) , it could be stuck in mid cycle. Remove the battery, unplug the unit for a minute then plug it back in, press quit squeeling(quiet alarm). The cams should turn and the piston move up and the rear cam should turn off the unit when the notch on the outside gets to about 9 oclock and the back switch actuater pops into that notch. If the motor is turning and the cams aren't, then the problem is the shear pin on the drive shaft needs replaced due to a problem with the orings on the piston. It could be that the cam follower has broken, if the cams are turning and the piston isn't moving. Is there a broken silver looking thing laying somewhere between the cams?
If all of the above is working, the inlet screen is the easiest to check. remove it and see if that corrects the problem. If you don't have a screen in there, then it's probably the resin bound up. Run it in backwash for 30 minutes and see if that corrects it.

@Andrew Ferguson,
Bypass the softener, flush debris from the well, put the softener back in service and directly into backwash.
