@Rockhead,
How many have you sent recently? Or is this a recent message after a singular PM?

@Rockhead,
Maybe the spam filter is looking at quality rather then quantity.

@tsarstepan,
I wonder how to reproduce said error as it might be an intermittent problem which by their very nature is the worst kind considering they are difficult to diagnose.

@Rockhead,
You hadda wait a whole hour???

They only made me wait 16 minutes (not 15, but 16!!) to spam a thread with replies. (Wasn't spam, but oh well). Silly hampsters Smile

I might add, since somebody tagged this SPAM, that anyone that might feel spammed by me, this would be a great opportunity to step up and offer a testimonial...

@Rockhead,
Had you sent a bunch of other messages before this single one, though? (Like, had you send four different PMs to four different people, and then this was the fifth?)

If so, I could see it triggering some sort of flood message. I know I've gotten them when I didn't realize that a PM had already sent (sending it from my Blackberry) and then I tried to re-send, which read as me sending two PMs in quick succession.

Anyway, that's a guess. Probably best to use the "contact us" link to get a more definitive answer.

@sozobe,
different than the flood.

I see that too, some times.

this was about adding someone that was not in the recent database.

@Rockhead,
Right, I get that, just seems like it could be a similar idea.

Had you sent a bunch of PMs in the period shortly before this happened? Or had you not sent any PMs within a few hours, say, and then all of a sudden when you tried to send this one single PM you got the message?

Again, if you want definitive answers though I suggest the "contact us" button.

@Rockhead,
i'm guessing that's robert answer to the spam PM problem, might not stop someone really bent on spamming members but it will certainly slow them down

@djjd62,
I sent a PM a few days ago without problem. She was already on my contact list, though.

@roger,
Sure. Everyone knows the hampsters aren't early risers.

Especially if they're hungover.
