LittleK, yes it is fascinating. Note that no US papers have picked up this story. I've been sending info to the Drudge Report hoping he will investigate and get interested in the story. Maybe then it will break in the US.

I can see why they'd hold off on telling the world they'd captured (by what ever means they did that) Saddam - secrecy would have allowed them the ability to follow up on leads gotten from him before his cohorts made their get-away. But 3 months? And why not just tell the public that that's what happened?

Littlek, exactly. I guess the politicos in the Pentagon don't want to admit the US didn't capture Saddam all by themselves. Doesn't fit in with karl Rove's campaign plans for Bush's reelection.
