Would a Kindle be a good study aid?

@boomerang,
Not only books, but magazines and newspapers. I also like that I can download samples (they're usually 60-70 pages) of new books before I buy (ok, I know that can be done on the internet as well, but it's handy when browsing on the e-Reader, too).

Also, it fits in my purse, has a longer battery life than my laptop (way longer) and I can turn the screen brightness way down to avoid eye-strain (wouldn't need that with Kindle's e-ink, though).

I never considered buying an e-Reader for myself, but now that I have one, I am really, really enjoying it!
