I m actually studying the republic by plato and i m having trouble here on what exactly i have to answer. Is it the class classifications, the system ,the benefits of women in society i mean the equality .... I m lost :-)

Don't get lost , all his issues go around one point only . if you could know his mind , you would be able to understand every thing . read between the lines, he is talking about things he could see but others can't , in one of his conversations he said " I'm not allowed to explain more, or I would stop at this point "as he goes inside his mind deeply , in another conversation he said "I have the prophecy". when you read his conversations you feel he is talking to you . read the conversations again and start with the cave of Plato .
then divide his conversations into subjects .
read easily, then make your questions and wonders .
we all here would help you , but give one question in each time to start your discussions .
