Now what? The newest war trial of this new century? T-shirts? Bush rises in the polls? Only time will tell, but we can be sure that this Christmas season will be mixed with hysterical news coverage that will dominate all. Shall I turn on my own TV? The feelings are bringing back all the horrors of the last few years, from WTC to the War on Iraq, to the disgusting excitement of news anchors in breathless delivery of every detail "we"
readers and listeners are supposed to be attendant to. Oh Lord, what a mixed up world we live in
What happens now is a trial where defense lawyers build an insanity plea that starts back at Sadam's childhood and ends with how lost and confused he seemed at the time of his capture. He will be handed over to one of our leading clinics where they will work on rehabilitating him and help him get in touch with his inner child. He'll be released in six months as long as he promises to stay on his meds.
