The unit keeps running water after backwashing. It’s fine during the summer months but starts this every time/ year the temp dips below 45 degrees. What can I do to stop this? I called rain soft and they sent a service guy. He claimed to replace a part. 2 weeks later it started again as it got cold. These clowns from rain Soft charged my about $180.00 claiming this was a service call. Need help please.

the temperature shouldn't have anything to do with it(unless the unit freezes), If it's a gold or silver series , I'd look at your pressure regulator and replace it.

How long is your drain line and does it have an air break?
