Quote:A tractor driver rammed a streetcar in Düsseldorf and tried to flee -- at a speed of 6 kilometers per hour. Police managed to catch up with him after a 1-kilometer chase. He will now be fined after failing to turn up for a court hearing.
It would have been an everyday case of hit-and-run, had it not been for a few key details. First, it involved a tractor going at 6 kilometers per hour (3.7 mph). And secondly, the driver was anything but average.

@Walter Hinteler,
This case is one of the strangest we've heard at Seitz & Tresher, a firm of Daytona Beach lawyers. A good lawyer probably could have gotten the case thrown out, but apparently Willi didn't want to talk to lawyers either.
@Daytona Dave,
dude.
you give ambulance chasers a bad name...
firkin lawyers.
Clip clop, clip clop, Blam Blam, clip clop, clippity clop.
<Amish drive by shooting.>
@Walter Hinteler,
"But Willi appealed the decision. Tuesday was to be his day in court. He didn't show up, so the decision now stands."
Probably something wrong with his tractor ...
@Mame,
Maybe he's still on his way....
