well it's not fun, but if this was real, you can take out all of the switches, and turn them to "on"
if the light is on, that means there is a direct, continuous current running through the circuit from the house, through the switch, to the bulb, back to the switch, to the house... it's only 80w. touch the exposed wire to see if you get a zap...

why else would they specify that "there is a door".
i think they say "there is a door" meaning you can actually go into the room.
they specify "without opening the door" to prevent someone from just keeping the door open while trying all the switches.
