I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.

Thanks, CI. What do I know about fifth hoosiers? I'm from Noo Yawk. I was once in Indiana, I think. So I must have met a hoosier. Looked pretty much like anybody else, except for the bright colors.

Embarrassing not to remember for sure whether I was in an entire state. See, this is what happens when memory loss is coupled with indecision. Half the time I can't remember what I'm unsure about. Also, I'm pretty sure I was in a Carolina, but I can't remember whether it was North or South.

This sort of question is bound to give me a headache.
Or ... Errr... Better said... An ache in the upper parts of my body... If it is my body... You know, the place where they always said me head was...
And who's they really? And why was I getting an ache in my upper body regions from the question? My answer gives me much more of an ache over there. Or is this an answer? I'm not sure. Perhaps if I let them check it out, they can tell me. But them are giant ants... Gosh, I'm confused Question Question Question

Well actually, the colors should be cream and crimson, as the songline goes, "we will fight for the cream and crimson, for the glory of old IU."

najmelliw, it's an unalloyed delight to see you galley-wested thus. Pure confusion is no mean mean, but the absolute end -- the chaotic life force. It's the hallmark of genius; that which separates the truly great from the also stumbled ... the valiant Don Quixote charging headlong astride his spirited steed while the clear-witted Sancho Panza bounces along on his ass, eating dust.

They and them are never to be trusted, only to be blamed, I think.
And can you be sure they were talking about giant ants or giant aunts? Hmmmm?

Debacle, I sense great truth in your reply. And great comfort at well. Even a lot of selfidentification with the gallant Don Quixote.
"Yay, my fiery steed! Forward I say(or was it backward)! See the giants with their flailing limbs? Ay, I say we smite them(the giant ants... or maybe aunts)!"
And it's an even greater delight to know that if I ever need a clearer wit, I only have to look backward(or is it forward?) toward the ass...

....assonance (cont. from najmelliw) of assorted associates here who continue to give us a forum for confusion, indecision and visions of hoo things.

Associative assonance sounds vaguely familiar, though never so clear as the revision of a dream which, as with all hindsight, is 20-20.

Panco Villa was with Don Quixote? So is Sancho Panza the guy from Mexico? I used to know such things. Now I'm not sure. And was Rocinante the horse or the lady--or perhaps a lady horse? Dulcinea was whichever Rocinante wasn't. I'm pretty sure of that.

BillW, So the windmills of your mind are on time? Is this thread on confusion or indecision? Who can decide?

Windmills of My Mind, sung bythe great Christmas crooner, Jose Feliznavidadiciano. Or was that Bing Cosby or Bill Crosby?
