Hi!
I am having problems with my email server and can't cope with the huge numbers of alerts coming in from able2know. I keep trying to turn off the alerts and that has worked for some threads but refuses to work for others. Can I turn off all email alerts at some central place until further notice?
Thanks!
Did you turn them on yourself in the first place? Never known anyone to have problems with email here.
Always notify me of replies:
Sends an e-mail when someone replies to a topic you have posted in. This can be changed whenever you post.
This is in your profile. Check that it's not set to "yes". If so set it to "No". And report back please. I'm sure the administrators would like to know.
No, that's OK, but it's the 'turn off email updates' which is situated at the bottom of every topic thread. There is one here, as I speak. And I got an email as soon as you replied (thanks!) I click on that sentence and the hamster tells me that the emails have been turned off, but sometimes they just keep coming, and when I go back to the topic, it says 'turn off email updates' still instead of turn ON...
where is kanahooka anyway?
50 miles south of Sydney.
OK, I suggest you send a PM to "moderator" and tell them of the problem. That should get to someone who can take care of it. I'm sure Craven would like to know about this. He's pretty good at fixing the problems once he's informed.
OK, thanks! Whenever I go to Sydney it rains like hell.
Please do not send PMs about technical problems as they will not be answered.
As to turning off your email updates you can do it all from the "
Watched Topics" link on the home page.
Thanks very much. No, I thought I wouldn't make it a pm.

So how do you report technical problems?
