I believe MRI and/or CAT scans cause the patient to receive radiation that could ultimately be harmful.
Is there any website or otherwise with information about various providers of such scans? Perhaps a grade or disciplinary action taken against a given location?
@gollum,
No ionizing radiation involved in MRI. It could be a problem if you have steel implants, though. CAT can be a pretty heavy dose. You can probably find your own websites.
@gollum,
Here is a radiation free CAT scan test:
You do get radiation from MRIs, Edgar. There was a story about how the levels which patients are exposed to are not regulated and can vary dramatically.
@littlek,
My error then. That was me, not edgar. Somehow I thought Magnetic Resonance Imaging didn't involve ionizing radiation.
@roger,
Sorry for calling you Edgar!
Actually, it looks like I was the one making the error.

@littlek,
You called me Roger once on facebook.
@edgarblythe,
I'm sorry guys. Last year in school I kept switching the names of two boys I work with. And I have long switched my sister's and niece's names around as well. I have name dyslexia.
In the past 18 months I've had 3 MRIs 2 CAT scans and MANY xrays. I glow in the dark.
