If AI catches up to robotic propulsion technology will we find them to be too human?

Robot Has A Human-Like Digestive System
July 22, 2010

Researchers at the Bristol Robotics Laboratory, UK have created a self-sustaining robot with an artificial gut to allow it to power itself by eating and excreting. The Ecobot III eats partially processed sewage and uses its nutrients as fuel and excretes the rest, while also drinking water to continuously generate power.

@GoshisDead,
Uh, if you can generate power from pooping why not create a similar system that can be installed in home sewer systems. That way we can use the generated power to reduce our energy costs. Maybe we could install this system in hybrid cars.

I'm waiting for the robot that is powered off zero point energy.

@GoshisDead,
Yeah, maybe someone should start looking for the capital to fund the IPO.

@GoshisDead,
PARTIALLY processed sewage.

Doesn't sound like we **** into our own personal Roomba...but that our Roomba somehow has access to general ****.

@dlowan,
Of course partially. Fully processed sewage is compost.

@GoshisDead,
Awwww...sorry...there there....I am sure it will fart instead of backfire.

And if it eats, it has to ****, right?

So it'll end up eating its own ****.

Feeling better now?

I used to work with ****. That was a hard two months when I manned (er, womaned) the parasitology lab in my training days. Little cartons of patients' shits awaiting on the clinic dummy ('dumb waiter') when I showed up at 7:30 a.m.
What a way to wake up...

There are proscriptives - I'm guessing, but am fairly confident about - composting human excretion. Or, am I wrong? I know there are new fangled smart toilets out there, which I've read about and forget the details of.

I also have noted batches of articles about using cattle manure.
