All I know for sure is that they are expanding the church property to include another block; it's a long-term project. There's already a subway station next to Segrada Famalia.

If my memory serves, the extension of the church into the next block is probably where they will build the "new" subway station in addition to the "main" entrance to Sagrada Famalia.

I remember taking a picture of the subway station on the same block as the church on the left side, but the new extension will be on the right side of the church. I tried to find the picture I took, but couldn't locate it.
