The most dangerous job in Guatemala: forensic scientists uncovering a staggering number of deaths face death threats themselves as they unearth the bones from civil-war atrocities.
"Aii-yaa Lomeo; Lomeo where are you ah, Lomeo." If you don't recognise that version of the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet, you just don't speak Manglish like a Malaysian. But you'll learn.

The very thought of you
And I forget to do
The little ordinary things
That everyone ought to do
I'm living in a kind of daydream
I'm happy as a king and foolish
Though it may seem to me
That's everything
The mere idea of you
The longing here for you
You'll never know
How slow the moments go
Till I'm near to you
I see your face in every flower
You eyes in stars above
It's just the thought of you
The very thought of you my love
The mere idea of you
The longing here for you
You'll never know
How slow the moments go
Till I'm near to you
I see your face in every flower
You eyes in stars above
It's just the thought of you
The very thought of you my love
The very thought of you my love
The very thought of you my love

Just came back from a performance of the Praetorius Vespers. They had us singing along appropriately. Rather nice. I had just been thinking the other week that I really missed having sheet music in my hands. There's something magical about that.
Quote:The Praetorius Christmas Vespers
December 12 & 13, 2003
Singers, recorders, violins, cornetti, sackbuts, theorbos and keyboards arranged around the balconies and stage of Trinity-St. Paul's Church, recreating the joyful celebration of Christmas Vespers as it might have been heard under the direction of Michael Praetorius in 17th-century Germany, this is the Toronto Consort's latest Yuletide offering. The centrepiece of the service is the sumptuous Magnificat for triple choir and instruments. And in the spirit of celebration, the audience will join with the assembled musical forces in singing favourite Christmas hymns.

To think the only version of that I know is something from the 40s or so from the "singing detective" soundtrack!
