I have just booked my tickets for Hawkfest 2021, a three day event over the last weekend in August based around the band Hawkwind.

It’s not just them obviously, there’s a whole festival line up including The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown.

I’m looking forward to seeing him.

BAZAAR OF BAD DREAMS. (Im on assignment to design a friggin wine label and Its gonna be for a HAlloween Wine, so I need something really over the top. I was thinking of an eviscerated torso. (Its a Muscado "Claret")

I’ve just got back. I saw Arthur on Friday night, he was incredible, leaping about all over the stage with an incredible vocal range.

You would never have guessed he was in his 80s.

Lester Young's birthday was on Friday and Charlie Parker's birthday is today – WKCR has been streaming music by the two of them since Friday (all Prez), Saturday (Prez and Bird together and in various different groups), and today (all Bird). I've been listening to as much as I can.
