Today on O&A...We're back from vacation! Jim and Sam talk about seeing Lady Gaga in concert, Opie films some fireworks, Anthony has a big party for Keith the Cop's birthday, we start listening to the Mel Gibson audio, Patrice O'Neal calls in to tell us why he was turned away at the Canadian border, we talk to Patrice about the LeBron James situation, we discuss Jesse Jackson's comments on the Cavaliers owner, Bobby Spillane dies, we listen to more Mel Gibson audio, we discuss the New Black Panther Party, we get the inside scoop that George Steinbrenner dies, we listen to a Mel Gibson remix, we talk more about George Steinbrenner dying, and we replay Patrice's rape story.

@hingehead,
From their last album Mardi Gras. Tom Fogerty had left the band and the critics savaged the album.
Pretty good-typical JF song though.
Thanks for the bginfo Panz. I thought it was Ok too.
Just discovered via a blog John LaJoie who does pisstakes of pop/urban rap (the subject matter/attitude rather than the genre itself) using his white dork persona. Some may find some of it offensive, like 'Show me your genitals' but you can see his youtube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/jonlajoie. Here's a nice take on the pop industry 2010 (shooting fish in a barrel)
As long as nothing you do has WIPO knocking my door down!
Pure pop heaven:

Whenever I hear the coda of this song my head feels like I'm breathing pure oxygen - and it gets stuck in my head.. I still wonder how many times you can say 'equator' over and over again. Until you lose your mind like Russell Mael audibly does.
Regina Spektor is just over the top in this video. As you know, she's become quite hip in Ozzie Land. And here her music is in tons of commercials and TV shows.
