The D'Oyly Carte Opera Company ... I'm called the captain of the Pinafore

<singing>

... what never, no never ...

... thinking back to travelling to Ottawa to see D'oyly Carte about 35 years ago, and almost falling into the orchestra pit - I was so entranced by the music and musicians

Hello. I am enjoying Jack on the rocks and listening to the Coasters, killing the time left before I head over to see my bird, who's been away a whole fuckin' week.

Quote:
We were born forever
We are twinned in a fugitive mind
Friends should stay together and
Light the world with the fugitive kind

So you keep talking in many languages
Telling us the way you feel
Don't stop confiding in the road you're on
Don't quit, you're walking satellites

Walking satellites
She laughs satellites
A room filled with satellites
Ahh, walking satellites

We were born forever
Tunneled into the fugitive night
Friends must stay together
Code the world with the fugitive light

I just saw you walking
Ice was reading fortunes by the moonlight
casting runes on the rooftops and alleys
You'll never read it more than you will tonight

So you keep talking in many languages
Telling us the way you feel
Don't stop confiding in the road you're on
Don't quit, you're walking satellites

Walking satellites
She laughs satellites
A room filled with satellites
Ahh, walking satellites

@panzade,
Never!

I dig that low (tenor?) sax. The more I hear of these guys the more I realize their range.

@Swimpy,
I'm not worried - but I love this vocal and it reminds me of who I know to be the second coming of Keith Richards (in almost every way) who was born on this day 50 years ago! Listen to that guitar solo...
