@Gargamel,
I've been meaning to listen to this band for a while now. I never seem to get around to it. Thanks for posting it and making it easy for me.

Hey, btw, did you go to Pitchfork this year?

@Swimpy,
Didn't make it this year! My old lady's birthday was Saturday, the only day I was dying to see bands. Pitchfork kicked her ass last year and she wanted to sit this one out.

im listening to my immature husband play with his g1 phone voice application.
He thinks its funny to "sound like steven hawking"

and that it is funnier to ask for a spanking and think of himself as steven

so he types in " take it bitch you know you want it"

Jillian, in her bedroom screams

" OK!!!!!!! BUT I DONT REALLY WANT TO! "

@Gargamel,
I wish I wasn't so damned old. I would have loved to see some of the bands, but I can't take festivals anymore. Some day I will see the Flaming Lips, I swear.

@Swimpy,
Apparently the lips are in Australia or soon will be, on the festival circuit. Triple Jay are offering a lucky listener tickets and the chance to dance on stage with the band in 'the animal suit'. I've got about 5 of their albums but i only really liked pink robots. Animal suit is tempting though.

This reminds just how groundbreaking the original Human League and contemporaries were in a world of pop and guitar rock.

Wow! That kid was great, panz, and he did it all by ear. Great chord changes, too.

I have to note the passing of one of the greatest rock & roll saxophonists, Sam Butera on June 3rd.
Although Sam was from the waning period of the big band era, his New Orleans styled wailing was a big influence on rock sax players.
