I'm listening to www.pandora.com

I highly recommend it! I input what I like, and it plays me songs I know and songs I haven't heard before. Right now it's playing Bumblebee, by Waste of Aces, which I'd never heard before. It's fun.

part of a live concert with the Cash Brothers with the Skydiggers

... right now ....

I will give you everything
That you've ever wanted
With this promise
I will bring you home again

I will give you anything
If you don't demand it
And with one promise
I will make you mine again

I will give you everything
That you've ever wanted
I will give you everything

I will give you everything
(I will bring you home again)
That you've ever wanted
(I will bring you home again)
And with this promise
I will bring you home again

I will give you everything
That you've ever wanted
I will give you everything

I will give you everything
That you've ever wanted
I will give you everything

You will never know, never know
How much I need you
You will never know, never know
How much I need you

The next time that you leave
I will not follow you
I will not chase you down

I will give you everything
That you've ever wanted
I will give you everything

I will give you everything
That you've ever wanted
I will give you everything

The next time that you leave
I will not follow you
I will not chase you down

How do you like me now? (Toby Keith) - I hate to admit it - but I do love this song- just as much as I hate his politics.

I was always the crazy one
I broke into the stadium
And I wrote your number on the 50 yard line
You were always the perfect one
And the valadictorian so
Under your number I wrote "call for a good time"

I only wanted to catch your attention
But you overlooked me somehow
Besides you had too many boyfriends to mention
And I played my guitar too loud.

How do you like me now?
How do you like me now,
Now that I'm on my way?
Do you still think I'm crazy
Standin here today?
I couldnt make you love me
But I always dreamed about living in your radio
How do you like me now?

When I took off to Tennessee
I heard that you made fun of me
Never imagined I'd make it this far
Then you married into money girl
Aint it a cruel and funny world?
He took your dreams and tore them apart.

He never comes home
And youre always alone
And your kids hear you cryin down the hall
Alarm clock starts ringin
Who could that be singin
Its me baby, with your wake up call!

How do you like me now?
How do you like me now,
Now that I'm on my way?
Do you still think I'm crazy
Standin here today?
I couldnt make you love me
But I always dreamed about living in your radio
How do you like me now?

Tell me baby...
I will preach on...

I only listened to part of it, but I liked what i heard. It's hard to find time to sit and listen to a whole cd uninterupted. trhe only other Sonic Youth Cd I own is Murray Street, which I like very much. The album is much like that one in that it is less noisy and more accessible.

Kids these days! They forget Sonic Youth's first LP, Confusion Is Sex, came out in the early 80s.

Where'd everybody go?

I'm listening to samples of "Streets of Baltimore" Gram parsons and Fallen Angel. It's a live album from 1973. Love Hurts is such a great song.
