Me! Now I got on How Soon is Now by The Smiths.

Timeless.

Hey, does anyone notice that the guitar licks in "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Green Day sounds a lot like "How Soon is Now?"

Interesting--I think they were inspired by The Smiths on that one--the purposeful distortion is very similar.

'Careless Love' by Madeleine Peyroux. It's one of those cds I bought on impulse that I fell in love with after the first verse. She's lovely.

We watched a documentary on The Flaming Lips today. It's called the Fearless Freaks. I highly recommend it. What a great bunch of artists, who have their hearts and heads in the right place.

La Donna E Mobile - L. Pavarotti

(incidentally, L.P. might have another word for Charlotte Church, besides mobile; she recently called him a pig. Rolling Eyes )
