just listened to a great "peter sellers" c.d. - anyone remember him ? included are - of course - his standards, "goodness gracious me" and "bangers and mash" with sophia loren, but also "the trumpet volunteer' -atrocious trumpet solo !-, "common entrance" and "grandpa's grave".
i have a copy of of his "goon show" book that i treasure - ehbeth gave it to me as a birthday present some twenty plus years ago.
i'll propably play the c.d. often enough during the weekend to elicit the comment : " haven't we heard this before ?" from mrs h.
hear we go again : "unchained melody" with spike milligan in attendance. pure bliss ! hbg
real good stuff...I happen to have a lot of that sillyness...plus "Beyond The Fringe"

MerryAndrew,
.....Perhaps you remember me from a couple of years ago, I remember you. Could you please PM Rae for me. There is a waiting period now on newcomers. Rae has PM'ed twice now, and thinks I have snubbed her. Yes, I have contacted the powers that be, and they told me too wait indefinatly, with no hint of when. I asked them t do what I'm asking you, and they ignored me.
boo -- what should I say in the PM?
