The deepest rumble of an entire brick building
shaking and settling, BOOM!,
from the thump and scrape of
a bulldozer plowing the snow three stories below.

The snow settles cleanly but people
want it to be pushed away.

I liked it too subby.

World Hits 1969 - specifically Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin's 'Je t'aime'. Banned in many parts of the world. Sheesh.

Listening to Bernstein conducting the NY Philharmonic in two symphonies and the Egmont Overture. The 5th is playing in the background as I type. Loverly.

Thanks! It is her bluegrass album, and it's been my favorite since I was in high school. I just bought the cd, since I can't play the album on the 'puter ;0)

Anyway, now I'm listening to Sacred Hearts and Fallen Angels-the Gram Parsons Anthology. I've always heard OF Gram Parsons, but didn't know his music..he died too young..

This might be blasphemy but he never did much for me. A poor little rich kid who slummed in the honky-tonk bars...I don't get the cult following. I admit though that he really influenced the acceptance of Country Rock...and his tune Hickory Wind is lovely.
