So by your own definition logic is a sin. This explains why you use so little of it.

Faith in God is logical since it explains the way the world works perfectly, unlike the stories of scientists that have so many holes in them, they keep try to plug them up just so they can leak again. Laughing But they'll keep trying to plug them up again everyday so that the science books of the future will look totally different than they do today. Wink

Faith in YOUR god is not logical.

What is logical about creating light, before the sun and stars?

What is logical about creating the earth before it has anything to orbit around?

What is logical about counting days when there is no sun?

Your book is riddled with things we know are impossible. You don't even know enough about science to be aware of any holes if there were any to begin with.

Because God is light as all born again Christians know. I received the same light that Paul did on the road to Damascus. Light represents good, darkness represents evil. That's why God created light and darkness before the sun and moon. When Mohammed saw his "vision" he was shrouded in darkness, not light.

Again, all you can understand are created things. Since you can't fathom how the first DNA was created then you can't fathom an intelligence intelligent enough to create the first DNA.

But it's an irrevocable truth than nothing superior can come from something inferior. Clay doesn't form the potter.Wink That means that everything in creation had to be formed by an intelligence higher than creation, not lower.

So again, the unseen is far more vast than the seen, yet atheists stick to the narrow realm of what is seen and remain stuck there. :ban: That's why your comments are s-o-o predictable. Very Happy

if you live your life to please yourself instead of God, then your life is coming from sin. It's that simple. Smile

So... Basically... You're trying to scam people out of their lives??? What happens when you live your entire life ENTIRELY for some god and then you die and thats all? That would SUCK! Be the dissapointment of a lifetime.

God created himself? That doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Even non-christians can see light is used metaphorically, but the light in genesis appears to be meant literally as in the flow of photons, light.

Depends on your definition of Superior.

By that logic volcanoes had to be created by a Volcano-maker.

Things do not always have a tangible cause. Lightning is not cause by an angry god, it's caused by friction in the atmosphere.

You have to know the bible well and believe it before you know the difference between true Christians and wolves in sheep's clothing.

What is a "true" Christian?

Best to Read the Book of Revelation. The dragon that chased the woman into the wilderness to devour her boy is the "community" that you are describing or at least individuals who collectively are called "dragon" in the Book of Revelation, who dream of devouring sheep because they hate the sheep and the good hearts of the sheep.

But the sheep are not devoured. The Lord gave them reborn hearts and knows how to keep them.

Says who? See, the Bible is just written and interpreted by man to serve him...there is no God.

Truths give man a way to measure their will. The understanding can be enlightened and raised. However, the man must do something with it like reining in evils, sin and bad behavior.

If a person rejects the Bible, hopefully they will adopt similar standards from other sources including other religions that teach living well, or laws of countries that should be followed.

While in this life, a person will ingrain a certain life or how they lived their life in this world. Since death is a continuation, man should seek to live a good life. The life you live here goes deep into your intentions that drive your actions:

"Man can indeed repent of evils that he has done in body, and still think and will evil; but this is like cutting off the trunk of a bad tree, and leaving its root in the ground, from which the same bad tree grows up again, and spreads forth its branches. But it is different when the root also is torn up; and this is done in man when he examines the intentions of his will, and puts away his evils by repentance." -- Swedenborg

People are innately good. Religion makes them believe otherwise so religious leaders can control the behavior, twisting it at government's demands.

At least not the major form of Buddhism. Although Buddhists have taken up open hostilities against certain groups, the leaders of Buddhism have not been openly racist (as far as I know; correct me if I'm wrong).

I was raised in a church that was very bad about this. It is my belief that most of their members actually have a very limited knowledage of the Bible. They just know parts of it; the parts that surports their doctrine. Beacause the Bible contains many contridictions it is easy to understand the divisions.
