@Whip,
I was just talking with my partner, of 5 years...he is an native of a European country. It is because of him that my eyes have been opened to the sad state that America is in. The encounters we have had, on the business side, with Americans, white, black and brown, have been more disappointing than encouraging. The good people in American seem to pale in comparison to the bad. Because of his skills, he is in demand, but everyone, to a person, that we have dealt with, has tried to take advantage. Is that the American way?
Seems so.
Since I have been on this site, I have been honest about who I am, as a person, and to my beliefs and positions. What do you suppose happened.
My truthfulness and honesty have led to me being attacked for being gay, attacked for being black, attacked for my past, attacked for my credentials, and attacked for my liberal positions.
That really speaks to the tolerance here...and is quite reflective of America, as a whole....there is so much hypocrisy, and lip service...and so much hate.
I'm ashamed to be American, if this is the America we have now.
The lot of you have absolutely nothing to be proud of.
