@SWORD of GOD,
Letters of the Prophet (PBUH)

[SIZE="3"]Letter to the Vicegerent of Egypt, called Muqawqas [/SIZE]

The Prophet (PBUH) wrote to Juraij bin Matta, called Muqawqas, vicegerent of Egypt and Alexandria saying:

?In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
From Muhammad servant of Allah and His Messenger to Muqawqas, vicegerent of Egypt.
Peace be upon him who follows true guidance. Thereafter, I invite you to accept Islam. Therefore, if you want security, accept Islam. If you accept Islam, Allah, the Sublime, shall reward you doubly. But if you refuse to do so, you will bear the burden of the transgression of all the Copts.

?Say [O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)]: ?O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allah, and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allah.? Then, if they turn away, say: ?Bear witness that we are Muslims.? ? [3:64]

A photo of this letter is shown below:
http://sirah.al-islam.com/image/aathar/athr05.gif

Muqawqas meditated over the contents of the letter deeply and said: ?I have come to the conviction that this Prophet bids nothing abominable; he is neither a straying magician nor a lying soothsayer. He bears the true manifest seeds of Prophethood, and so I will consider the affair deeply.? He took the parchment and ordered that it be kept in an ivory casket. He called a scribe to write the following reply in Arabic:

?In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
From Muqawqas to Muhammad bin ?Abdullah:
"Peace be upon you. I have read your letter and understood its contents, and what you are calling for. I already know that the coming of a Prophet is still due, but I used to believe he would be born in Syria. I am sending you as presents two maids, who come from noble Coptic families; clothing and a steed for riding on. Peace be upon you.?

It is noteworthy that Muqawqas did not avail himself of this priceless opportunity and he did not embrace Islam. (Reference: Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum)

@SWORD of GOD,
Letters of the Prophet (PBUH)

[SIZE="3"]A Deputation to Abyssinia (Ethiopia) [/SIZE]

Negus, king of Abyssinia (Ethiopia), his name was Ashama bin Al-Abjar, received the Prophet?s message, despatched by Amr bin Omaiyah Ad-Damari, which At-Tabari referred to, either late in the sixth year or early in the seventh year A.H. Deep scrutiny into the letter shows that it w as not the one sent after Al-Hudaibiyah event. Wording of the letter rather indicates that it was sent to that king when Ja?far and his companions emigrated to Abyssinia (Ethiopia) during the Makkan period. One of its sentences read ?I have despatched my cousin, Ja?far with a group of Muslims, to you. Do be generous towards them and give up haughtiness.?

Al-Baihaqi, on the authority of Ibn Ishaq, gave the following narration of the Prophet?s letter sent to Negus:

?This letter is sent from Muhammad, the Prophet to Negus Al-Ashama, the king of Abyssinia (Ethiopia). Peace be upon him who follows true guidance and believes in Allah and His Messenger. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah Alone with no associate, He has taken neither a wife nor a son, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. I call you unto the fold of Islam; if you embrace Islam, you will find safety,

? [The Holy Quran, 3:64]

Should you reject this invitation, then you will be held responsible for all the evils of the Christians of your people.?

Dr. Hameedullah (Paris), a reliable verifier, has adduced a version of the above letter disclosed only a short time ago and identical to Ibn Al-Qaiyim?s narration. Dr. Hameedullah exerted painstaking effort and used all means of modern technology to verify the text of the letter, which reads as follows:

?In the Name of Allah,the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. From Muhammad the Messenger of Allah to Negus, king of Abyssinia (Ethiopia). Peace be upon him who follows true guidance. Salutations, I entertain Allah?s praise, there is no god but He, the Sovereign, the Holy, the Source of peace, the Giver of peace, the Guardian of faith, the Preserver of safety. I bear witness that Jesus, the son of Mary, is the spirit of Allah and His Word which He cast into Mary, the virgin, the good, the pure, so that she conceived Jesus. Allah created him from His spirit and His breathing as He created Adam by His Hand. I call you to Allah Alone with no associate and to His obedience and to follow me and to believe in that which came to me, for I am the Messenger of Allah. I invite you and your men to Allah, the Glorious, the All-Mighty. I hereby bear witness that I have communicated my message and advice. I invite you to listen and accept my advice. Peace be upon him who follows true guidance.?
When ?Amr bin Omaiyah Ad-Damari communicated the Apostolic letter to Negus, the latter took the parchment and placed it on his eye, descended to the floor, confessed his faith in Islam and wrote the following reply to the Prophet (Peace be upon him).

?In the Name of All?h, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. From Negus Ashama to Muhammad, the Messenger of All?h. Peace be upon you, O Messenger of All?h! and mercy and blessing from All?h beside Whom there is no god. I have received your letter in which you have mentioned about Jesus and by the Lord of heaven and earth, Jesus is not more than what you say. We fully acknowledge that with which you have been sent to us and we have entertained your cousin and his companions. I bear witness that you are the Messenger of All?h, true and confirming (those who have gone before you), I pledge to you through your cousin and surrender myself through him to the Lord of the worlds.?

The Prophet (Peace be upon him) had asked Negus to send Ja?far and his companions, the emigrants to Abyssinia (Ethiopia), back home. They came back to see the Prophet (Peace be upon him) in Khaibar. Negus later died in Rajab 9 A.H. shortly after Tabuk Ghazwa. The Prophet (Peace be upon him) announced his death and observed prayer in absentia for him.

@SWORD of GOD,
[SIZE="3"]Twelve Proofs that Muhammad is a True Prophet[/SIZE]

By: Shaykh `Abdul Rahman `Abdul Khaliq

Muhammad the son of `Abdullah is Allah's Prophet and the Final Messenger Sent by Allah to the Inhabitants of Earth.

My brothers and sisters everywhere! You should know that the Messenger, Muhammad the son of `Abdullah (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) is Allah's Messenger in reality and truth. The evidences that show his veracity are abundant. None but an infidel, who out of arrogance alone, could deny these signs.

Among these proofs:

1. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) was raised illiterate, unable to read or write, and remained like that till his death. Among all his people, he was known as being truthful and trustworthy. Before receiving revelation, he had no prior knowledge of Religion or any previously sent Message. He remained like that for his first forty years. Revelation then came to Muhammad with the Koran that we now have between our hands. This Quran mentioned most of the accounts found in the previous scriptures, telling us about these events in the greatest detail as if he witnessed them. These accounts came precisely as they were found in the Torah sent down to Moses and in the Gospel sent down to Jesus. Neither the Jews or Christians were able to belie him regarding anything that he said.

2. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) also foretold of everything that would occur to him and his community after him, pertaining to victory, the removal of the tyrannical kingdoms of Chosroes [the royal title for the Zoroastrian kings of Persia] and Caesar, and the establishment of the religion of Islam throughout the earth. These events occurred exactly as Muhammad foretold, as if he was reading the future from an open book.

3. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) also brought an Arabic Quran that is the peak of eloquence and clarity. The Quran challenged those eloquent and fluent Arabs of his time, who initially belied him, to bring forth a single chapter like the Quran. The eloquent Arabs of his day were unable to contest this Quran.

Indeed, till our day, none has ever dared to claim that he has been able to compose words that equal-or even approach-the order, grace, beauty, and splendor of this Glorious Quran.

4. The life history of this Noble Prophet was a perfect example of being upright, merciful, compassionate, truthful, brave, generous, distant from all evil character, and ascetic in all worldly matters, while striving solely for the reward of the Hereafter. Moreover, in all his actions and dealings, he was ever mindful and fearful of Allah.

5. Allah instilled great love for Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) in the hearts of all who believed in and met him. This love reached such a degree that any of his companions would willingly sacrifice his (or her) self, mother or father for him.

Till today, those who believe in Muhammad honor and love him. Anyone of those who believe in him would ransom his own family and wealth to see him, even if but once.

6. All of history has not preserved the biography of any person in the manner it has preserved the life of Muhammad, who is the most influential human in history.

Nor has the entire earth known of anyone whom every morning and evening, and many times thereafter throughout the day, is thought of by those who believe in him. Upon remembering Muhammad, the believers in him will greet him and ask Allah to bless him. They do such with full hearts and true love for him.

7. Nor has there every been a man on earth whom is still followed in all his doings by those who believe in him.

Those who believe in Muhammad, sleep in the manner he slept; purify themselves (through ablution and ritual washing) in the manner he purified himself; and adhere to his practice in the way they eat, drink, and clothe themselves.

Indeed in all aspects of their lives, the believers in Muhammad adhere to the teachings he spread among them and the path that he traveled upon during his life.

During every generation, from his day till our time, the believers in this Noble Prophet have fully adhered to his teachings. With some, this has reached the degree that they desire to follow and adhere to the Prophet's way in his personal matters regarding which Allah has not sought of them to adhere to in worship. For example, some will only eat those specific foods or only wear those specific garments that the Messenger liked.

Let alone all that, all those who believe in Muhammad repeat those praises of Allah, special prayers, and invocations that he would say during each of his actions during day and night, like: what he would say when he greeted people, upon entering and leaving the house, entering and leaving the mosque, entering and leaving the bathroom, going to sleep and awaking from sleep, observing the new crescent, observing the new fruit on trees, eating, drinking, dressing, riding, traveling and returning from travel, etc.

Let alone all that, all those who believe in Muhammad fully perform-even to the minute detail-every act of worship-like prayer, fasting, charity, and pilgrimage-as this Noble Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) taught and as he himself performed.

All of this allows those who believe in him, to live their lives in all aspects with this Noble Messenger as their example, as if he was standing before them, for them to follow in all their doings.

8. There has never been nor will there ever be a man anywhere upon this earth who has received such love, respect, honor, and obedience in all matters-small and large alike-as has this Noble Prophet.

9. Since his day, in every region of the earth and during every period, this Noble Prophet has been followed by individuals from all races, colors and peoples. Many of those who followed him were previously Christians, Jews, pagans, idolaters, or without any religion. Among those who chose to follow him, were those who were known for their sound judgment, wisdom, reflection, and foresight. They chose to follow this Noble Prophet after they witnessed the signs of his truthfulness and the evidences of his miracles. They did not choose to follow Muhammad out of compulsion or coercion or because they had adopted the ways of their fathers and mothers.

Indeed many of the followers of this Prophet (may Allah's blessings peace be upon him), chose to follow him during the time when Islam was weak, when there were few Muslims, and when there was severe persecution of his followers on earth. Most people who have followed this Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) have done so not to acquire some material benefits. Indeed many of his followers have suffered the greatest forms of harm and persecution as a result of following this Prophet. Despite all this harm and persecution, this did not turn them back from his religion.

My brethren! All of this clearly indicates to anyone possessing any sense, that this Prophet was truly and really Allah's messenger and that he was not just a man who claimed prophethood or spoke about Allah without knowledge.

10. With all this, Muhammad came with a great religion in its credal and legal make-up.

Muhammad described Allah with qualities of complete perfection, and at the same time in a manner that is free of ascribing to Him any imperfection. Neither the philosophers or the wise could ever describe Allah like such. Indeed it is impossible to imagine that any human mind could conceive of an existing being that possesses such complete ability, knowledge, and greatness; Who has subdued the creation; Who has encompassed everything in the universe, small or large; and Who possesses such perfect mercy.

Nor is it in the ability of any human being to place a perfect law based upon justice, equality, mercy and objectivity for all human activity on earth like the laws that Muhammad brought for all spheres of human activity - like buying and selling, marriage and divorce, renting, testimony, custody, and all other contracts that are necessary to uphold life and civilization on earth.

11. It is impossible that any person conceive wisdom,, morals, good manners, nobleness of characters as what this honorable Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) brought.

In a full and complete manner, Muhammad spread a teaching regarding character and manners toward one' parents, relatives, fiends, family, humanity, animals, plants and inanimate objects. It is impossible for the human mind alone to grasp all of that teaching or come with a similar teaching.

All of that unequivocally indicates that this Messenger did not bring any of this religion from his own accord, but that it was rather a teaching and inspiration that he received from the One Who created the earth and the high heavens above and created this universe in its miraculous architecture and perfection.

12. The legal and credal make-up of the religion that the Messenger, Muhammad, (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) brought resembles the engineering of the heavens and the earth. All of that indicates that He who created the heavens and the earth is the One Who sent down this great law and upright religion.

The degree of inimitability of the Divine law that was sent down upon Muhammad is to the same degree of inimitability of the Divine creation of the heavens and earth. For just as humanity cannot create this universe, in the same manner humanity cannot bring forth a law like Allah's law that He sent down upon His servant and messenger Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him).

@SWORD of GOD,
Aisha, the wife of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

"Allah's Messenger (PBUH) used to patch his sandals, sew his garment and conduct himself at home as anyone of you does in his house. He was a human being, searching his garment for lice, milking his sheep, and doing his own chores." (Narrated by al-Tirmathi).

She also said:

"He would patch his garments and sole his sandals" She was once asked: "How was he with his family?", she responded: "He was in the service of his family until it was time for prayer, at which time he would go and pray."

@SWORD of GOD,
The Prophet?s Birth

Muhammad, son of Abdullah, son of Abdul Muttalib, of the tribe of Quraysh, was born in Makkah fifty-three years before the Hijrah. His father died before he was born, and he was protected first by his grandfather, Abdul Muttalib, and after his grandfather?s death, by his uncle Abu Talib.

As a young boy he traveled with his uncle in the merchants? caravan to Syria, and some years afterwards made the same journey in the service of a wealthy widow named Khadijah. So faithfully did he transact the widow?s business, and so excellent was the report of his behavior, which she received from her old servant who had accompanied him, that she soon afterwards married her young agent; and the marriage proved a very happy one, though she was fifteen years older than he was. Throughout the twenty-six years of their life together he remained devoted to her; and after her death, when he took other wives he always mentioned her with the greatest love and reverence. This marriage gave him rank among the notables of Makkah, while his conduct earned for him the surname Al-Amin, the ?trustworthy.?

The Hunafa

The Makkans claimed descent from Abraham through Isma`il and tradition stated that their temple, the Ka`bah, had been built by Abraham for the worship of the One God. It was still called the House of Allah, but the chief objects of worship here were a number of idols, which were called ?daughters? of Allah and intercessors. The few who felt disgust at this idolatry, which had prevailed for centuries, longed for the religion of Abraham and tried to find out what had been its teaching. Such seekers of the truth were known as Hunafa (sing. Hanif), a word originally meaning ?those who turn away? (from the existing idol-worship), but coming in the end to have the sense of ?upright? or ?by nature upright,? because such persons held the way of truth to be right conduct. These Hunafa did not form a community. They were the non-conformists of their day, each seeking truth by the light of his inner consciousness. Muhammad son of Abdullah became one of these.

The First Revelation

It was his practice to retire often to a cave in the desert for meditation. His place of retreat was Hira?, a cave in a mountain called the Mountain of Light not far from Makkah, and his chosen month was Ramadan, the month of heat. It was there one night toward the end of his quiet month that the first revelation came to him when he was forty years old.

He heard a voice say: ?Read!? He said: ?I cannot read.? The voice again said: ?Read!? He said: ?I cannot read.? A third time the voice, more terrible, commanded: ?Read!? He said: ?What can I read?? The voice said:

?Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth.
?Createth man from a clot.
?Read: And it is thy Lord the Most Bountiful
?Who teacheth by the pen,
?Teacheth man that which he knew not.?

The Vision of Cave Hira?

He went out of the cave on to the hillside and heard the same awe-inspiring voice say: ?O Muhammad! Thou art Allah?s messenger, and I am Jibril (Gabriel).? Then he raised his eyes and saw the angel, in the likeness of a man, standing in the sky above the horizon. And again the dreadful voice said: ?O Muhammad! Thou art Allah?s messenger, and I am Jibril (Gabriel).? Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) stood quite still, turning away his face from the brightness of the vision, but wherever he turned his face, there stood the angel confronting him. He remained thus a long while till at length the angel vanished, when he returned in great distress of mind to his wife Khadijah. She did her best to reassure him, saying that his conduct had been such that Allah would not let a harmful spirit come to him and that it was her hope that he was to become the Prophet of his people. On their return to Makkah she took him to her cousin Waraqa ibn Nawfal, a very old man, ?who knew the Scriptures of the Jews and Christians,? who declared his belief that the heavenly messenger who came to Moses of old had come to Muhammad, and that he was chosen as the Prophet of his people.

His Distress

To understand the reason of the Prophet?s diffidence and his extreme distress of mind after the vision of Hira?, it must be remembered that the Hunafa, of whom he had been one, sought true religion in the natural world and regarded with distrust the intercourse with spirits of which men ?avid of the Unseen? sorcerers and soothsayers and even poets, boasted in those days. Moreover, he was a man of humble and devout intelligence, a lover of quiet and solitude and the very thought of being chosen out of all mankind to face mankind, alone, with such a message, appalled him at the first.

Recognition of the Divine nature of the call he had received involved a change in his whole mental outlook sufficiently disturbing to a sensitive and honest mind, and also the forsaking of his quiet, honored way of life. The early biographers tell how his wife Khadijah ?tested the spirit? which came to him and proved it to be good, and how, with the continuance of the revelations and the conviction that they brought, he at length accepted the tremendous task imposed on him, becoming filled with enthusiasm of obedience which justifies his proudest title of ?the Slave of Allah.?

@SWORD of GOD,
[SIZE="3"]The Promised PROPHET in the Bible![/SIZE]

INTRODUCTION:

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) brought to our attention that these books (NT & OT) still contain some truth, He said:

{When you ask them (Jews & Christians) about anything if they tell you the truth do not call it a lie, and when they tell you lies do not believe in it}.

In other words, if the previous books (The Bible) contain information, that match verses of the Holy Quran, and the tradition of Muhammad (PBUH), then this is proof that, it is true and has not been altered.?The Unbelievers say: "No apostle art thou." Say: "Enough for a witness between me and you is Allah, and such as have knowledge of the Book.?(Quran, Al-Ra'd: 43).

As an example:

Jesus (peace be upon him) said in the bible:

[KJV][Jn.17.3]: "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent."

[Mar 12:29]: Jesus answered, "The most important is,'Hear, O Israel, the Lord OUR God is ONE Lord?(Bible)

This following conversation will happen in the Judgment Day as told by Allah in the Quran:

"And (remember) when Allah will say (on the Day of Resurrection): "O 'Isa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto men:'Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allah?' " He will say: "Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, You would surely have known it. You know what is in my inner-self though I do not know what is in Yours; truly, You, only You, are the All-Knower of all that is hidden (and unseen)."

"Never did I say to them aught except what You (Allah) did command me to say:'Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord.' And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them; and You are a Witness to all things.(This is a great admonition and warning to the Christians of the whole world)."
[Quran 5: 116-117].

In spite of the alterations made to the Bible, it still contains many prophecies that foretell the arrival of the "Final prophet". It has been almost 2000 years since Jesus (PBUH) came to this earth; yet, these prophecies have not been fulfilled; therefore, we ask when will it be? To claim that these prophecies are still to come, as the years go by, is to reduce the credibility of the Bible to its readers.

@SWORD of GOD,
[SIZE="3"]The Promised PROPHET in the Bible![/SIZE]

I want you to read throughly those passages which describe that promised ONE, the servant of God, The final messenger. I will put my explanation in the coming posts:

[Isaiah 42:1-12] KJV

1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.
3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.
5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:
6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.
8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
10 Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.
11 Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing (of Sela), let them shout from the top of the mountains.
12 Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands.

@SWORD of GOD,
[SIZE="3"] The Promised PROPHET in the Bible! [/SIZE] [SIZE="3"]Part (1)[/SIZE]

I will go with you through the passages of [Isaiah 42:1-12] one by one. I will start now with the first passage.

1 "Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles." [Isaiah 42:1]

Here God speaks about the greatest prophet (The praised one) who promised to send to mankind.
We will examine the descriptions of this prophet as told by God and we will see that these descriptions fit no other prophet but prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

(1)-'my sevant'= servant or SLAVE of God.

Always prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to refer to himself as a slave of Allah and his messenger:

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Do not glorify me in the same manner as the Christians glorify Jesus, son of Mary, but say,'He is a slave of Allah and His Messenger.' "

Allah (God) also called him my slave in the Quran:

" And if you (Arab pagans, Jews, and Christians) are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down (i.e. the Quran) to Our slave (Muhammad (peace be upon him) then produce a Surah (Chapter) of the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers) besides Allah, if you are truthful." [The Noble Quran 2: 23]

(2)-'mine elect'= one chosen (elect) by God

One of the other known names of prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Arabic is 'Al Mustafa' which means the one chosen (elect) by God =(mine elect).

(3)-'whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him:'

Allah in the Quran says:

"Allah sends His Salat (Graces, Honors, Blessings, Mercy) on the Prophet (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) and also His angels (ask Allah to bless and forgive him). O you who believe! Send your Salat on (ask Allah to bless) him (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) and (you should) greet (salute) him with the Islamic way of greeting (salutation i.e. As-Salamu 'Alaikum). " [The Noble Quran 33: 56]

Also Allah says about prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):

"And verily, for you (O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) will be an endless reward.
And verily, you (O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) are on an exalted standard of character."
[The Noble Quran 68: 4]

(4)-'he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles'

" And so judge (you O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) among them by what Allah has revealed and follow not their vain desires, but beware of them lest they turn you (O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) far away from some of that which Allah has sent down to you. And if they turn away, then know that Allah's Will is to punish them for some sins of theirs. And truly, most of men are Fasiqun (rebellious and disobedient to Allah)."
[The Noble Quran 5: 49]

@SWORD of GOD,
[SIZE="3"]The Promised PROPHET in the Bible! Part (2)[/SIZE]

The explanation of [Isaiah 42:1-12] continues.

In [Isaiah 42:1-12] God speaks about the greatest prophet (The praised one) who promised to send to mankind.
We will examine the descriptions of this prophet as told by God and we will see that these descriptions fit no other prophet but prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

I will try to explain now the second passage.

2 " He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.." [Isaiah 42:2]

'He shall not cry'

According to the authentic biography of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), as the prophet (PBUH) never burst out laughing, so he never used to cry with sound, but his blessed eyes would shed tears and the sound of his blessed chest would be heard. He used to weep when thinking of the sins of his Nation [that is, Muslims], and he used to weep out of fear of Allah. He also wept when he heard the Noble Quran and, sometimes, when performing prayers.

'nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.'

In the authentic biography of the Prophet (PBUH), Ali ibn abi Talib described prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as follows:

"He was not vulgar nor did he condone vulgarity, and he was not one to shout in the market place. He did not reward evil with evil, rather, he would forgive and overlook. He never in his life struck anything with his hand except when he was fighting in the name of Allah. He never struck a servant nor a woman, and I never saw him taking revenge for an injustice dealt him, except if the prohibitions of Allah were transgressed. For if the prohibitions of Allah were transgressed he was among the strongest of them in anger. He was never given a choice between two matters but he chose the simplest of the two. If he entered into his home he was a man like any other; cleaning his own garment, milking his own goat, and serving himself.
He would guard his tongue from that which did not concern him. He would attract them (the people) and not repel them. He would ennoble the noble of the people and charge them with their affairs. He was wary of the people and guarded himself against them but without depriving them a warm smile or fitting conduct. He would inquire after his companions and would ask the people about their affairs. He would encourage that which was good and strengthen it, and he would discourage that which was evil and undermine it. He was balanced and consistent. He would never be neglectful that they would not learn neglect and grow indifferent...."

So, as can any honest person see that the description of [Isaiah 42:2] fits prophet Muhammad (PBUH) 100%.

@SWORD of GOD,
[SIZE="3"]The Promised PROPHET in the Bible! Part (3)[/SIZE]

The explanation of [Isaiah 42:1-12] continues.

Reminder: In [Isaiah 42:1-12] God speaks about the greatest prophet (The praised one) who promised to send to mankind.
We will examine the descriptions of this prophet as told by God and we will see that these descriptions fit no other prophet but prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

This time, I will try to explain the third and fourth passages.

[Isaiah 42:3-4]
3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

For the first thirteen weary years of his prophet-hood in Makkah (Mecca), prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him),with no power in his hand, had struggled firmly as no made ever had against all the brutal aggressions of the Meccans. They kept attacking him personally, propagating horrible negative lies against him, and put him with his followers and close family under a very harsh starvation siege for three long years. They even planned and tried to kill him while he was asleep in his house but they couldn't. Until they forced him to leave Makkah (Mecca) to Maddinah (against their will). The battles with the Meccans continued against heavy odds until such time that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) entered Mecca victorious as a King after a struggle of several years. Ten thousands of his Muslim companions accompanied him.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the only prophet who claimed to have brought a universal and perfect law. The Holy Quran says:
"Today We (Allah) have perfected your religion for you and completed Our favor upon you." (The Holy Quran 5:4)

Prophet Muhummad (PBUH)has the prerogative of inflicting capital punishment. He had the power of life and death over his people. He brought forth judgment unto truth.

Prophet Muhummad (PBUH) comes to a people steeped in barbarism and ignorance. They married their step-mothers; they buried their daughters alive; drunkenness, adultery, idolatry, and gambling were the order of the day. "From this abject barbarism, Muhummed elevated them. in the words of Thomas Carlysle, "into torch-bearers of light and learning.''TO THE ARAB NATION IT WAS AS A BIRTH FROM DARKNESS INTO LIGHT. ARABIA FIRST BECAME ALIVE BY MEANS OF IT. A POOR SHEPHERD PEOPLE, ROAMING UNNOTICED IN ITS DESERTS SINCE THE CREATION OF THE WORLD. SEE, THE UNNOTICED BECOMES WORLD NOTABLE, THE SMALL HAS GROWN WORLD-GREAT. WITHIN ONE CENTURY AFTERWARDS ARABIA WAS AT GRANADA ON ONE HAND AND AT DELHI ON THE OTHER. GLANCING IN VALOUR AND SPLENDOUR, AND THE LIGHT OF GENIUS, ARABIA SHINES OVER A GREAT SECTION OF THE WORLD...."

The fact is that prophet Muhummad (PBUH) gave his people a Law and Order they never had before.

Again, we see how clearly has the prophecy of [Isaiah 42:3-4] been fulfilled in the person of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in all of its details.

@SWORD of GOD,
[SIZE="3"]The Promised PROPHET in the Bible! Part (4)[/SIZE]

The explanation of [Isaiah 42:1-12] continues.

This time, I am going to explain the following verses:[Isaiah 42:5-7] by quoting from the Quran what Allah had revealed to his messenger, Muhammad (PBUH) and compare those with the descriptions of the promised prophet mentioned in [Isiah 42:5-7]:

(*)[Isiah 42:5]: Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

This verse is in complete agreement with the following Quranic verses:

"Who has made the earth a resting place for you, and the sky as a canopy, and sent down water (rain) from the sky and brought forth therewith fruits as a provision for you. Then do not set up rivals unto Allah (in worship) while you know (that He Alone has the right to be and made them seven heavens and He is the All-Knower of everything." [The Noble Quran 2: 21-22]

"Is not He (Allah)(better than your gods) Who created the heavens and the earth, and sends down for you water (rain) from the sky, whereby We cause to grow wonderful gardens full of beauty and delight? It is not in your ability to cause the growth of their trees. Is there any ilah (god) with Allah? Nay, but they are a people who ascribe equals (to Him)!" [The Noble Quran 27: 60]

"He (Allah) has created the heavens without any pillars that you see, and has set on the earth firm mountains lest it should shake with you. And He has scattered therein moving (living) creatures of all kinds. And We send down water (rain) from the sky, and We cause (plants) of every goodly kind to grow therein." [The Noble Quran 31: 10]
=====

(*)[Isiah 42:5]: I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

This verse states that God would protect this promised prophet and would send with him a light (guidance) to the Gentiles. In the following verse, Allah (God) had promised to protect his prophet Muhammad(PBUH) and to make his message (Islam) superior over all religions.

Allah will protect you:

" O Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him))! Proclaim (the Message) which has been sent down to you from your Lord. And if you do not, then you have not conveyed His Message. Allah will protect you from mankind. Verily, Allah guides not the people who disbelieve." [Quran 5: 67]

Allah promised to make His religion (Islam) superior over all religions:

"It is He (Allah) Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islam), to make it superior over all religions even though the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) hate (it)." [Quran 9: 32-33]

The light sent with the promised prophet:

"They (the disbelievers, the Jews and the Christians) want to extinguish Allah's Light (with which Muhammad (peace be upon him) has been sent - Islamic Monotheism) with their mouths, but Allah will not allow except that His LIGHT should be perfected even though the Kafirun (disbelievers) hate (it)." [Quran 9: 32]

"O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Now has come to you Our Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) explaining to you much of that which you used to hide from the Scripture and passing over (i.e. leaving out without explaining) much. Indeed, there has come to you from Allah a LIGHT (Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)) and a plain Book (this Quran)." [Quran 5: 15].

The promised prophet had been sent among the 'Gentiles'(the non-Jews or/and the unlettered ones):

"He (Allah) it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) from among themselves, reciting to them His Verses, purifying them (from the filth of disbelief and polytheism), and teaching them the Book (this Quran, Islamic laws and Islamic jurisprudence) and Al-Hikmah (As-Sunnah: legal ways, orders, acts of worship of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him))And verily, they had been before in manifest error;" [Quran 62: 2]

And the promised prophet had been sent to all mankind (all peoples including Gentiles):

"And We (Allah) have sent you (O Muhammad (peace be upon him)) not but as a mercy for the 'Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists)." [Quran 21: 107]
========

(*)[Isiah 42:7]: To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

The promised prophet would guide the people from the darkness of ignorance into the light of Tuth.

Allah in the Quran states that He sent His messenger Muhammad (PBUH) to bring people out from darkness into light:

"It is He (Allah) Who sends down manifest Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) to His slave (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) that He may bring you out from darkness into light. And verily, Allah is to you full of kindness, Most Merciful."
[Quran 57: 8-9]

"(And has also sent to you) a Messenger (Muhammad (peace be upon him)) who recites to you the Verses of Allah (the Quran) containing clear explanations, that He may take out those who believe and do righteous good deeds from the darkness (of polytheism and disbelief) to the light (of Monotheism). And whosoever believes in Allah and performs righteous good deeds, He will admit him into Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever. Allah has indeed granted for him an excellent provision." [Quran 65: 11]

@SWORD of GOD,
[SIZE="3"]The Promised PROPHET in the Bible! Part (5)[/SIZE]

The explanation of [Isaiah 42:1-12] continues.
PART 5

Reminder: In [Isaiah 42:1-12] God speaks about the greatest prophet (The praised one) who promised to send to mankind.
We will examine the descriptions of this prophet as told by God and we will see that these descriptions fit no other prophet but prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

In this last part 5 of my explanation (interpretation), I will go through verses 9 to 12 and would show that the descriptions stated in those verses exactly without any doubt fit prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

[Isaiah 42:9-10]
9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
10 Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.

What is this 'new song' mentioned & prophesized by the above verse? The promised Prophet would be sent with a 'new song' that would circle around the word all days. Now, before finding what this 'new song' happens to be, let us summarize its descriptions:
(1)It is a NEW song: New & sounds beautiful like a song.
(2)It is a praise of God
(3)It would circle around the word every day: Be heard around the word every day.

Without any doubt, I can claim that this 'NEW SONG' is the Islamic PRAYER CALL (Athan). First, I invite you to hear it and discover how beautiful it sounds (just like a song!). Hear it here YouTube - Islamic Call to Prayer

Athan (prayer call) is recited in a loud voice by the Muazzin facing the direction of the Ka'ba in the following words, which are said in the order mentioned:

"Allahu Akbar" - recited FOUR times.

Meaning, "Allah is Most Great."(four times)

"Ash-hadu an la ilaha ill-Allah" - recited TWO times.

Meaning, "I bear witness that there is none worthy of being worshipped except Allah."(twice)

"Ash-hadu anna Muhammad-an-Rasoolu Allah" - recited TWO times.

Meaning, "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah."(recited twice)

"Hayya 'alas-Salah" - recited TWO times.

Meaning, "Come to prayer."(turning the face alone to the right and saying it twice)

"Hayya 'alal-falah" - recited TWO times.

Meaning, "Come to Success."(turning the face alone to the left and saying it twice)

"Allahu Akbar" - recited TWO times.

Meaning, "Allah is Most Great" (face back to front and saying it two times).

"La ilaha ila Allah" - recited ONE time.

Meaning "There is none worthy of being worshipped except Allah"

Morning (Fajr) Prayers
The following phrase is added after "Hayya 'alal-falah" in the Azan of the early morning prayers:

"As-salatu khairum minannaum" - recited Two times.

Meaning, "Prayer is better than sleep" (recited two times).

First, any one can conclude that this Islamic Prayer call is a 'NEW SONG' because it's unique and it did not exsit in any religion before Islam. It sounds very beautiful when it is recited, just like a beautiful 'song'. Second, it's composed of words that praise Allah (God). Therefore, it fits 100% the first two elements of descriptions mentioned in [Isaiah 42:10].

Next, we will show the amazing fact about how it fits the third and last element of description for that prophesized 'NEW SONG'!

I would like to remind the reader that the third and last description of the prophesized 'NEW SONG' is:(3)It would circle around the word every day: Be heard around the word every day.

[Isaiah 42:10] Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.

To support my claim that this amazingly fits the Islamic Prayer Call (Athan or Azaan).
100%, I will borrow an article written by: By Shahid Bin Waheed.

'AZAAN'- An Amazing Miracle!

Azaan: is an incredible medium for the proclamation of Tawheed (Oneness of God) of Almighty Allaah and Risalaat (Prophethood) of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam, this Islaamic prayer call (sounding words) to Muslims, which constantly echoes around the globe five times every day.

Amazing though it sounds, but fortunately for the Muslims of the world, it is an established fact. Have a look at a map of the world and you will find Indonesia (an Islaamic country) right on the eastern side of the earth. Indonesia consists of numerous small islands, the principle ones amongst them being Java, Sumatra, Borneo and Saibil, all of which are well known. It is the largest country in the world, with 180 million inhabitants.

As soon as dawn breaks on the eastern side of Saibil, at approximately 5:30 am local time, Fajr Azaan begins. Thousands of Mu?azzins in eastern Indonesia commence proclaiming the Tawheed (oneness) of the Almighty, Omnipotent and Omniscient Allaah and Risalaat (Universal Apostleship) of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam.

The process then continues and advances towards the Western Islands of Indonesia. The time difference between the eastern and western islands of Indonesia is one and a half hours. Hence, one and a half hours after the Azaan has been completed in Saibil, it echoes in Jakarta on Java Island. Sumatra then follows suit and before this auspicious process of calling Azaan ends in Indonesia, it has already begun in Malaysia. Burma is next in line, and within an hour of its commencement in Jakarta, it reaches Dacca, the capital city of Bangladesh. No sooner the calling of Azaan ends in Bangladesh, it has already prevailed in western India, from Calcutta to Srinagar. It then advances towards Bombay and the environment of entire India resounds with this august proclamation.

Srinagar and Sialkot (a city in north Pakistan) have the same timing for Azaan. The time difference between Sialkot, Kota, Karachi and Gowadar (a city in Baluchistan, a province of Pakistan) is forty minutes, and within this time, Fajr (Dawn) Azaan is heard throughout Pakistan. Before it ends there, however, it has already begun in Afghanistan and Muscat. The time difference between Muscat and Baghdad is one hour. Azaan resounds during this one hour in the environments of Hijaaz-e-Muqaddas (Holy cities of Makkah and Madinah), Yemen, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Iraq.

The time difference between Baghdad and Alexandria in Egypt is again one hour. Azaan continues to resound in Syria, Egypt, Somalia and Sudan during this hour. Alexandria and Istanbul are situated on the same geographical longitude. The time difference between eastern and western Turkey is one and a half hours, and during this time it is echoed with the call to prayer.

Alexandria and Tripoli (capital of Libya) are located at an hour of difference from one another. The process of calling Azaan thus continues throughout the whole of Africa. Therefore, the proclamation of the Oneness of Allaah and the Prophethood of Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam that had begun in the eastern islands of Indonesia reaches the Eastern Shore of the Atlantic Ocean after nine and a half hours.

Prior to the Azaan reaching the shores of the Atlantic, the process of Zohar Azaan has already commenced in eastern Indonesia, and before it reaches Dacca, Asar Azaan has started. This has hardly reached Jakarta one and half hours later, and then the time of Maghrib becomes due, and no sooner has Maghrib time reached Sumatra, then the time for calling Isha Azaan has commenced in Saibil! When the Mu?azzins of Indonesia are calling out Fajr Azaan, the Mu?azzins in Africa are calling out the Azaan for Isha.

If we were to ponder over this phenomenon seriously and studiously, we would conclude the amazing fact that:'There is not a single moment when thousands if not hundreds of thousands of Mu?azzins around the world are not proclaiming the Oneness of Almighty Allaah and the Prophethood of the noble Prophet MuhammadSallallahu Alayhi Wasallam on the face of this earth!' Insha Allaah, this Azaan (universal call) for five times everyday will continue till the Day of Judgment, AMEEN.

@SWORD of GOD,
[SIZE="3"]The Promised PROPHET in the Bible! Part (6)[/SIZE]

[Isaiah 42:11-12]:
11 Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing (of Sela), let them shout from the top of the mountains.
12 Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands.

The above verses continue to talk about the 'NEW SONG' the 'Promised Prophet' would be sent with, and I have already in the previous post proved that this 'NEW SONG' is the Islamic PRAYER CALL.

However, these above two verses (Isaiah 42:11 & 12) mention that this 'NEW SONG' would be heard and started in the land & wilderness that Kedar inhibit. This means that the 'PROMISED PROPHET' would come from the land of Kedar. So, who is 'Kedar'? and where did 'Kedar' and his sons live ?

Kedar is one of the sons of prophet Ishmael (PBUH). Ishmael and his sons (including Kedar) lived in the wilderness of Arabia.

"And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam," [Gensis 25:13]

"Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants." [Ezekiel 27:21] KJV

All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.[Isaiah 60:7] KJV

According to the Jewish Encyclopedia, about KEDAR:
http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/view.jsp

Kedar:
"One of the sons of Ishmael (Gen. xxv. 13; I Chron. i. 29). The name is also applied in Scripture to the tribe that sprang from him, and is likewise used for the Bedouins generally, whose characteristic traits are ascribed to Kedar (Cant. i. 5; Isa. xxi. 16, xlii. 11, lx. 7; Jer. ii. 10, xlix. 28; Ezek. xxvii. 21). While very little is known of Kedar, the head of the tribe, his posterity, called also the "Bene Kedar" (Isa. xxi. 17), are described as barbarous tribes in connection with Mesech. "Woe is me," says the Psalmist (Ps. cxx. 5), "that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!" According to other passages, they appear to have been rich in flocks of sheep and goats, in which they traded with the Syrians (Ezek. xxvii. 21; Jer. xlix. 49). They dwelt in tents of black hair (Cant. i. 5) in the midst of the wilderness of Arabia, and were known as skilful archers (Isa. xxi. 17). But they also settled in villages or towns (Isa. xlii. 11). According to Mohammedan tradition, Kedar ("Ḳaidhar" ) was the ancestor of Mohammed; and it is through him that Mohammed's descent is traced to Ishmael (Caussin de Perceval, "Essai," i. 175).E. G".

Kedar was the ancestor of prophet Mohammed (PBUH); and it is through him that Prophet Mohammed's descent is traced to Ishmael (PBUT).

Ishmael and his sons inhibited in the city of Makkah (Mecca) and there they lived and died.

So, that 'NEW SONG' prophesized in Isaiah 42: 11-12] would start in Makkah (the city where Kedar and his sons lived and inhibited). Makkah is surrounded by 'MOUNTAINS' exactly as descriped in Isaiah 42:11:
[Isaiah 42:11-12]:
11 "Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing (of Sela), let them shout from the top of the mountains."

11 "Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voices, The settlements where Kedar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing aloud, Let them shout for joy from the tops of the mountains." [New American Standard Bible]

11 "Let those who live in the desert and its cities raise their voices. Let those who live in the settlements of Kedar praise him. Let those who live in Sela sing for joy. Let them shout from the tops of the mountains." [God's Word Bible]

Another amazing fact is the mention of exact name of Mountain Sela which is a known mountain in nearby city of Madinah where prophet Muhammad (PBUH) immigriated from Makkah and stayed there until his death. Here Sela mean,'Rock' in Hebrew language and it is name of a mountain in Madinah.

So, who was this 'PROMISED PROPHET' according to the descriptions given by the prophecy of [Isaiah 42:1-12]!!?

By now and after careful examination and study of theses verses as I presented in my posts, there is no tiny doubt that these descriptions fit no other prophet but prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

END.

@SWORD of GOD,
Islam is an invented religion, one tailor-made by an Arab to suit the Arabs. Sorry. I would commit suicide before converting to Islam. I refuse to saw off heads, chop off hands, gouge out eyes, or carve out tongues. I refuse to dump on women. I refuse to wear a beard. I refuse to abuse animals, such as dogs and pigs. I refuse to refuse to use toilet paper. :thumbdown:

[QUOTE]Islam is an invented religion, one tailor-made by an Arab to suit the Arabs.[/QUOTE]

First- Out of the nearly 1.4 Billion Muslims in the world, only 16% are Arabs. Does this tell you something!

Second- As he's the final and last messenger, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) had been sent to all mankind:
"We (Allah) have sent you (Muhammad) as a mercy for all nations" [Quran 21:107]

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "...All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action."

Third- Prophet Issa (Jesus) peace be upon him was sent only to the Jews, therefore, according to your same reasoning, You should never follow Jesus unless you're a 'JEW'!
{But He (Jesus) answered and said, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."} [Matthew 15:24]

[QUOTE]Sorry. I would commit suicide before converting to Islam.[/QUOTE]

Should I remind you that you are worshiping the most famous suicidal figure in history, the biblical Jesus , as you claim!

[QUOTE]I refuse to saw off heads, chop off hands, gouge out eyes, or carve out tongues.[/QUOTE]

Islam teaches this:
"On that account: We (Allah) ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our apostles with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land." [The Noble Quran, 5:32]

But we find it to be absolutely ridiculous that the bible feeds us all kinds of lies and contradictions about "Peace" & "love your enemy", and yet, we see mass slaughter of suckling infants and innocent boys, girls, unarmed men, women (old and young).

Jesus said : " But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and SLAY THEM BEFORE me. " ( LUKE 19:27)

Jesus said: "Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to put a man against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. A person's enemies will be the members of his own family. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. " (Matthew 10:34-36)

Jesus said:
[luk. 12:49]'I came to cast fire upon the earth, and would that it were already kindled.. Do you think that I have come to give peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division; for from henceforth in one house there will be five divided, three against two, and two against three. They will be divided, father against son, and son against father, mother against daughter, and daughter against her mother.'

Jesus said:
[luk. 14:26] if any one comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife, and children, and brothers and sisters yes and even his own life: he cannot be my disciple.

Luke 22:36 (Jesus tells his followers to "Purchase Swords")
And He said to them, "But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one.

John 2:15 (Jesus attacks people with a whip in the Temple)
And He made a scourge of cords, and drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen; and He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables;

When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to Him, "They have no wine." And Jesus said to her, "Woman, what does that have to do with us? My hour has not yet come." [John 2:3-4].

And His mother and brothers came to Him, and they were unable to get to Him because of the crowd. And it was reported to Him, "Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, wishing to see You." But He answered and said to them, "My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it." Luke 8:19-21

With respect to Luke 8:19-21 and John 2:4, no Muslim could ever believe that Prophet Jesus(as) treated his mother in this way, and as such must attribute this to further examples of fabrications found in the Bible.

[ Ez:9:6 ] "Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house."

[Numbers 31:17-18] "Now kill all the boys [innocent kids]. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man."

[Samuel 15:3] “Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass”

[Psalm 137:9] "O the happiness of him who doth seize, And hath dashed thy sucklings on the rock! (A praise for dashing little children against rocks as a form of revenge)"

(Isaiah:13:16)-(Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.)

[Isaiah 13:15-18]:

15 "Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is taken shall fall by the sword.
16 Their infants also shall be dashed in pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be rifled, and their wives ravished.
17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, who shall not regard silver, and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.
18 And their bows shall dash the young men in pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children."

[Exo 32:27] "And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour."

Christians according to their pagan faith can not deny that Jesus was God of Moses & the Old Testament. Unless they deny that Jesus in Not the God of Moses anymore!!

Jesus said:
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law (the Old Testament) or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke or a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law (the Old Testament) until everything is accomplished. (Matthew 5:17-18)"

[QUOTE]I refuse to dump on women.[/QUOTE]

Islam came to honor and protect women. Thats' why the rate of chrisitan westren women converting to Islam compare to converting men is in the rise (4 women/ 1 man)!

There is a great deal of good in some women: "O ye who believe! Ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Nor should ye treat them with harshness, that ye may take away part of the dower [money given by the husband to the wife for the marriage contract] ye have given them, except where they have been guilty of open lewdness; on the contrary live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. If ye take a dislike to them it may be that ye dislike a thing, and God brings about through it a great deal of good. (The Noble Quran, 4:19)"

Men and women were created for each others, in order to live in peace, harmony and love with each others as husbands and wives: "And among God's signs is this: He created for you mates from amongst yourselves (males as mates for females and vice versa) that you might find tranquillity and peace in them. And he has put love and kindness among you. Herein surely are signs for those who reflect. (The Noble Quran, 30:21)"
Men can not harm their wives: "...Do not retain them (i.e., your wives) to harm them...(The Noble Quran, 2:231)"

"If a wife fears cruelty or desertion on her husband's part, there is no blame on them if they arrange an amicable settlement between themselves; and such settlement is best; even though men's souls are swayed by greed. But if ye do good and practise self-restraint, God is well-acquainted with all that ye do. (The Noble Quran, 4:128)"

Narrated Mu'awiyah al-Qushayri: "I went to the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) and asked him: What do you say (command) about our wives? He replied: Give them food what you have for yourself, and clothe them by which you clothe yourself, and do not beat them, and do not revile them. (Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 11, Marriage (Kitab Al-Nikah), Number 2139)"

"He who is involved in bringing up daughters, and accords benevolent treatment towards them, they will be protection for him against Hell-Fire." (Prophet Mohammed peace be upon him)

Men can't have sex with their women during Menses, but they can sleep with them and touch them: "They ask thee concerning women's courses. Say: They are a hurt and a pollution: So keep away from women in their courses, and do not approach them until they are clean. But when they have purified themselves, ye may approach them in any manner, time, or place ordained for you by God. For God loves those who turn to Him constantly and He loves those who keep themselves pure and clean. (The Noble Quran, 2:222)"

Maimuna (the wife of the Holy Prophet) reported: "The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) contacted and embraced his wives over the waist-wrapper when they were menstruating. (Translation of Sahih Muslim, The Book of Menstruation (Kitab Al-Haid), Book 003, Number 0579)"

Women have equal rights for them and against them: "..and for women are rights equal to the rights against them but men have a degree over them (in the context of divorce) in what is just. (The Noble Quran, 2:228)"

The birth of a female is not a biggest tragedy and the end of the world as it is in the Bible: "When news is brought to one of them, of (the birth of) a female (child), his face darkens, and he is filled with inward grief! With shame does he hide himself from his people, Because of the bad news He has had! Shall he retain it On (sufferance and) contempt, Or bury it in the dust? Ah! what an evil (choice) They decide on? (The Noble Quran, 16:58-59)" So considering the birth of females as a bad thing is evil by itself in the Noble Quran.

Also, the Prophet peace be upon him said: Narrated AbuSa'id al-Khudri: "The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: If anyone cares for three daughters, disciplines them, marries them, and does good to them, he will go to Paradise. (Translation of Sunan abu Dawud, Book 41, General Behavior (Kitab Al-Adab), Number 5128)"

Women have the right for the highest education, unlike what some Muslim fanatics claim: Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ashari: "The Prophet said, 'He who has a slave-girl and teaches her good manners and improves her education and then manumits and marries her, will get a double reward; and any slave who observes Allah's right and his master's right will get a double reward.' (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Manumission of Slaves, Volume 3, Book 46, Number 723)"

"...Those truly fear God, among His Servants, who have knowledge: for God is Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving. (The Noble Quran, 35:28)"

Unsecured men do not represent Islam. I don't have to oppress my wife and keep her down in order for me to keep our marriage. No, I instead use Noble Verse 30:21 when dealing with my wife: "And among God's signs is this: He created for you mates from amongst yourselves (males as mates for females and vice versa) that you might find tranquillity and peace in them. And he has put love and kindness among you. Herein surely are signs for those who reflect. (The Noble Quran, 30:21)"

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The best believers are the best in conduct, and the best of you are those who are best to their wives."

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under Allah's trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste."

But in Judeo-Christianity, the woman is dishonored:

(1) To the woman (Eve) He (God) said, "I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." [Genesis 3:16]

(2) Birth of any female is a loss: Ecclesiasticus 22:3 "....and the birth of ANY daughter is a loss" (From the New Jerusalem Bible. It's a Roman Catholics Bible)

(3) Fathers can sell their daughters as slave girls: Exodus 21:7-8 "And in case a man should sell his daughter as a slave girl, she will not go out in the way that the slave men go out. If she is displeasing in the eyes of her master so that he doesn't designate her as a concubine but causes her to be redeemed, he will not be entitled to sell her to a foreign people in his treacherously dealing with her."

(4) in Christianity: Woman is a daughter of falsehood,.(Saint John Damascene)

(5) in Christianity: Woman is a sentinel of Hell,.(Saint John Damascene)

(6) in Christianity: Woman is the enemy of peace; through her Adam lost paradise.(Saint John Damascene)

(7) in Christianity: Woman is the fountain of the arm of the Devil, her voice is the hissing of the serpent (St. Anthony)

(8) in Christianity: Woman has the poison of an asp, the malice of a dragon(St. Gregory).

(10) The "biblical" Jesus considers women as dirt that defiles men (since Jesus, the GOD, is the one who supposedly inspired the New Testament as Christians claim): Revelation 14:4 "Those are those (men) who did not defile themselves with women, for they kept themselves pure. They follow the Lamb wherever he goes. They were purchased from among men and offered as first fruits to God and the Lamb."

"let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law, and if they will learn anything, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for woman to speak in the church." [1 Corinthians 14:34-35]

[Ephesians 5:22-24]:
22. Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord.
23. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savoir.
24. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

[QUOTE]I refuse to wear a beard.[/QUOTE]
I just want to remind you that Jesus (peace be upon him) had a beard! Also, 'The Beard Law' is stated in your own bible!The Law about Wearing Beards

THE BEARD LAW

One of the many laws the Creator God gave to Israel that had to do with holiness was the law requiring men to wear beards.

To All Adult Israelite Males
"You shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shall you mar the corners of your beard"
(Lev.19:27 KJV)

The word corners is noted in the instructions for both the head and beard. So perhaps, understanding the instruction concerning the hair on the head would help us to further understand the instruction concerning the beard.

[QUOTE]I refuse to abuse animals, such as dogs and pigs.[/QUOTE]

We do not abuse them! Muslims are ordered not to abuse animals. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) mercy and compassion was so deep that animals, even plants would benefit from His existence as their guardian. One day, He told his companion the story of two women: " A prostitute was guided by God's truth and ultimately went to paradise because she gave water to a dog dying of thirst in the desert" (Bukhari, "Anbiya'," 54; Muslim, "Salam," 153). And for the other women, Allah's Apostle said, "A woman was tortured and was put in Hell because of a cat which she had kept locked till it died of hunger." Allah's Apostle further said, (Allah knows better) Allah said (to the woman), 'You neither fed it nor watered when you locked it up, nor did you set it free to eat the insects of the earth." Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 40, Number 553

Another day, on the way to return home from a battle, Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud:
We were with the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) during a journey. He went to ease himself. We saw a bird with her two young ones and we captured her young ones. The bird came and began to spread its wings. The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) came and said: Who grieved this for its young ones? Return its young ones to it. He also saw an ant village that we had burnt. He asked: Who has burnt this? We replied: We. He said: It is not proper to punish with fire except the Lord of fire.

Narrated AbdurRahman ibn Uthman:
When a physician consulted the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) about putting frogs in medicine, he forbade him to kill them.
Ibni Abbas narrates: We were on our way with Prophet Muhammad when we saw a man who tied his sheep up to slaughter it. Yet, he was sharpening his knife in front of the animal. Prophet Muhammad scolded the man: Do you want to kill him plenty of times? (Mustadrak,, 4/231, 233)

(In Islam tradition, there are rigid procedures for slaughtering, mostly for the aim of hygiene and not to cause any pain to animal. First, an animal can only be slaughtered by God’s permission And for only His sake, that is, by reciting God’s names during the slaughter meaning we are His servants and not real owners or decision makers above anything, People first help the animal lay down in dignity with gently fondling it. A very sharp, plain edge knife is used to cut through throat in one second while the eyes of animal closed with a cloth in advance, so that he will not suffer from any psychological and physiological pain. The blood is completely drained from the main vessel to prevent any deterioration and microbes caused by dirty and old blood.

[QUOTE]I refuse to refuse to use toilet paper.[/QUOTE]
Muslims use water to clean and keep themselves pure. The personal body hygiene is an important daily practice in any muslim life as he performs prayers five times a day.

No one can stop you from posting your points of view and opinions as long as you respect others and be subjective. As some other poster already told you: if you feel the thread subject bothers you for some reason then please ignore it and don't open this thread so you can be happy!

This is a tradition that has been carried out since before you were a member. Sword posts propaganda and we all ignore it. It gives the place an air of activity. Hell, if they wanted to be proper, they'd just kick him out, I think they actually did once (this might even be in the Pre-Brian era) and he rejoined with another name (everyone knew it at the time.)

@Reagaknight,
"Verily! Allah (God) commands that you should render back the trusts to those to whom they are due; and that when you judge between men, you judge with justice. Verily, how excellent is the teaching which He (Allah) gives you! Truly, Allah is Ever All-Hearer, All-Seer."
[The Noble Quran 4:58]

"Verily, Allah enjoins Al-'dl (i.e. justice and worshipping none but Allah Alone - Islamic Monotheism) and Al-Ihsan (i.e. to be patient in performing your duties to Allah, totally for Allah's sake and in accordance with the Sunnah (legal ways) of the Prophet (peace be upon him in a perfect manner), and giving (help) to kith and kin (i.e. all that Allah has ordered you to give them e.g., wealth, visiting, looking after them, or any other kind of help), and forbids Al-Fahsha' (i.e. all evil deeds, e.g. illegal sexual acts, disobedience of parents, polytheism, to tell lies, to give false witness, to kill a life without right), and Al-Munkar (i.e. all that is prohibited by Isl?mic law: polytheism of every kind, disbelief and every kind of evil deeds), and Al-Baghy (i.e. all kinds of oppression), He admonishes you, that you may take heed."
[The Noble Quran 16:90]

"9 And if two parties or groups among the believers fall to fighting, then make peace between them both. But if one of them outrages against the other, then fight you (all) against the one that which outrages till it complies with the Command of Allah. Then if it complies, then make reconciliation between them justly, and be equitable. Verily! Allah loves those who are equitable."
10 The believers are nothing else than brothers (in Isl?mic religion). So make reconciliation between your brothers, and fear All?h, that you may receive mercy.
[The Noble Quran 49:9-10]

"O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honorable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa (i.e. he is one of the Muttaqun (the pious). Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware."
[The Noble Quran 49:13]
