I love fried zucchini, also eggplant.
At this rate, OTHER is going to win...
Hmm, gus, have you ever cooked a wee anchovy in olive oil, added garlic, a few hot pepper flakes, and then broccoli flowerettes? Not good if you hate anchovies, but, me, I like broccoli that way..

Sounds disgusting. I'd rather eat dirt.
Heh, heh... just messin' with ya, Osso. You know, I might just try that recipe. Thanks.
Lessee... eggplant, peppers, zucchini (all squash), tomatoes...
all fruit.
(Just being picky for the lack of real thoughts passing throu my brain before coffee...)
A staple at this house is broccoli rabe (or rappini) sauted with garlic and mixed into pasta. Quick, easy, little clean up, and put enough cheese on it and it tastes divine.
Almost any kind of veggie, roasted.
Voted for carrot.
Ehbeth's response explains a lot about the current political turmoil in Canada...
.
Corn on the cob with butter is my favorite. I grew some this year and it was the best corn I ever tasted. I'm gonna do a big crop of it next year. Yummy!!!!
Ahhh, rappini! I used to cook with it back in Lah, but don't see it much up here. Now that you mention it I miss it.
veggies raw are even nicer - freshly picked runner beans and peas and broccoli - mmmm!
The only vegetables I don't like are brussel sprouts, turnips and beets. Otherwise, bring 'em on. My favorite is onion because I use it in so many of my dishes. There's just no such thing as too much onion.
I love onions too, eoe. It's lucky for me they are good for you...
spinach, broccoli, swiss chard, kale, rapini, broccolini, carrots, brussel sprouts, onions (they're a vegie???), tomatoes, pumpkin..... I love a lot of vegies. Unfortunately not the ones you tend to find in restaurants.
I do not like eggplant, zucchini, bell peppers, cukes, green beans....
No zucchini? Bell peppers? Cucumbers??!!
nope, drives everyone crazy.
potato and rutabaga two to one. a little sugar in the water. mashed with butter. heaven.
(Cheesey, Cheesey)
(This is a song about vegetables, they keep ya regular
They're real good for yo)
Call any vegetable Call it by name
Call one today When you get off the train
Call any vegetable And the chances are good
Aw, The vegetable will respond to you
(Some people don't go for prunes...I
don't know, I've always found that if they...)
Call any vegetable Pick up your phone
Think of a vegetable Lonely at home
Call any vegetable And the chances are good
That a vegetable will *respond* to you
Rutabaga, Rutabaga,
Rutabaga, Rutabaga,
Rutabay-y-y-y...
(A prune isn't really a vegetable...
CABBAGE is a vegetable...)
No one will know
If you don't want to let them know
No one will know
'Less it's you that might tell them so
Call and they'll come to you
Covered with dew
Vegetables dream, Of responding to you
Standing there shiny and proud by your side
Holding your hand while the neighbors decide
Why is a vegetable something to hide?
A lot of people don't bother about their
friends in the vegetable kingdom. They
think: Oh, ah, what can I say? What can
a person like myself say to a vegetable?
But the answer is simple, my friends:
Just call, and tell them how you feel
about muffins...pumpkins...wax
paper...Caledonia, Mahoganies, elbows
...green things in general...and
soon, a new rapport...you and your
new little green and yellow buddies,
grooving together...Oh, no! Maintaining
your coolness together! Worshipping
together in the church of your
choice...(only in America...)*
Call any vegetable Call it by name
Aw, you gotta call one today
When you get off the train
Call any vegetable
And the chances are good
WOW! That the vegetable will *RESPOND* to you
*Oh, no! Can you see them responding? The
pumpkin is breathing hard...h-h-h-h
h-h-h-H-H-H-H-H-H-H - H - HHHHHHHHHHHH!
(What a pumpkin!)*
