@Brent cv,
What about people who jump out of burning buildings to die a quick death?

Technically, it's suicide, no? And you never know...maybe a fireman was about to save them or something. (Not likely, but I am just wondering if what God says on suicide applies to a situation like this.)

@Brent cv,
I think once your fate is sealed you're free to go out with dignity

Case in point:

My fathers best friend shot himself through the chest after learning late he had a brain tumor and less then a year to live. He didn't want to go out a vegetable after 6 brain surgery's that wouldn't work, he wanted people to remember him as him. He even took a more painful route and shot himself in the chest so that he could have an open casket for his family

nothing wrong with that, his time had come

but when we think about traditional suicide I would say it's wrong because it's unnatural

@Brent cv,
If you are in a hopeless situation such as in the case of the twin towers, I would hope that you would be forgiven for jumping....
