@Mame,
Hi Mame!

I'm not saying he is. I'm just curious as to why others say that he is.

I haven't witnesed any trolling at all on this forum, as of yet!

have a fantasmagorical day!

@mark noble,
I know you didn't say it, I was refuting what others said. They say he is because that's what some people do when they dislike the way they come across, or their positions on issues. Spendy is no more a troll than others of his ilk.

I reiterate: I really like him and his mind, whatever his POV.

here at a2k we have a long tradition of calling people we dont like trolls, and trying to pressure them into going away or at least shutting up. The actual definition of troll is immaterial.

JSYK: I an not well liked by some, so I often get called a troll. Robert has been asked to banish me but to his credit he has not done it yet. He has called me a troll a bunch of times though.

Hi Spendius!

Why do so many here refer to you as a troll?
I have seen no such thing!

Hi Mark. One of my pub mates' ex-wife's sister's married to a bloke called Noble. I trust you're not like him. It's a good name for a hero in a lower-middle-class bodice ripper. I bet it's been used.

There is a claque of atheists on here who can't handle me so they call me a troll to save face. They think it wins them the argument. They call me a lot of other things as well. I can only presume it's how the scientific method is taught in the seats of the Higher Learning in the US. I wish I could talk out of my arse. I'd make a fortune.

Mame's a good cook you know. That's 4.75 stars out of the five in my book.

@spendius,
Hi Spendius!

I judge the nature of individuals, according to how I perceive them, not the collective.

I'm not that person your pub-mates.....

Why do you say atheists, are you theistic?

Grand tidings to you!
Mark...

I was once at a forum where sticking to the original post subject was strictly regulated by the moderators. If a person moved away from that topic a public reprimand was made, if several did the thread was locked for 24 hours, if it happened again it was locked for good.

This place annoyed the heck out of me, and it is now much less active as people got fed up and took themselves someplace else.

Conversation flows, places that do no allow conversation are not useful to me.

Some digression is fine, and may even be justified. But there are limits. What those limits are is a matter of judgment. I hope that most people on this forum are people who have good judgment. Conversation is one thing. Pointless irrelevancy is a different thing. As I just said, it is a matter of judgment.

Hi Edgar!

Nor do I, since he attacked my good natured gestures.

Kind regards!

@edgarblythe,
Liar, liar, pants on fire..

To Mark:
Dyslexia is one of our more interesting posters. He was taught philosophy at some early age, like six, and is very well educated; and besides that, he thinks. He ribs a lot, is naturally curmudgeonly, and very knowledgeable.
