Greetings I own a Rainsoft Silver Series RO Water softener. Im looking to replace the loose carbon in the carbon filter tank. Rainsoft will charge me $200 to come to my house and do it but I would rather replace it myself. Any help would be appreciated.

@IllDoItMySelf,
how old is the system and why are you looking at replacing the carbon? chlorine smell? is the timer working? If you do it yourself, it's no big deal to spin the head off and replace the carbon, but like any piece of equiptment, when you open it up, you've just voided the warranty.
