Rainsoft water filter Sulphur smell again

We have a rainsoft water filter that we got around 3 years ago because of the sulphur smell in the water, it's common in our area. It worked fine until recently, and need to know how to troubleshoot the problem.

I have some questions for you first to help me help you trouble shoot.
Are you on a private well?
What kind of pressure tank do you have?
What kind of media is in the filter tank?
Was the water tested for sulphur or assumed it was sulphur?
