Londoner is second in World Beard event

A London pensioner has finished second in the World Beard and Moustache Championship in the US. Alf Jarrald, 82, was beaten only by the German Karl Heinz Hille. Alaskan Dave Traver was third.
The championship, known as the Face Fuzz Olympics, was held in Carson City, Nevada. More than 120 men from around the world took part in the event, says the Daily Express.
