When I post a response to a thread I get a nice email, notifying me of a new addition to that thread which turns out to be . . .me.
This has only started since I had trouble logging in this afternoon. That's straightened out, apparently, but the suspicion arises in my mind that it is connected with a cookie problem. I had deleted all temporary cookies and such, on the instructions of MSN tech support (turned out not to be the solution to the problem BTW).
Could there be a connection here?
Anyway, is there some way I can keep A2K from mailing me notices of my own responses? It certainly isn't important, but I'd like 2know.
Moving this to Forum Help.
I believe you just go to your profile and where it asks if you want updates, just click on no.
It does sound strange that you're only getting updates on your own responses.

No, I'm getting updates on everybody's stuff - it's just that I'm getting updates on my own stuff too, which I don't really need!
The way to fix that is through the options in your profile. You'll find the one you're looking for toward the end of the list.
This forum does not send out notifications to your own posts. It's far more likely that you have gotten confused.

Sorry, Craven - I can be as confused as the next person, but on this one I'm not. I get notifications, click on the link, and lo and behold, my post is right there, the most recent to appear.
I know computers can behave oddly; perhaps this is one of those times. . .
