To not steal but add thunder.
The polarity or opposite of "evil" is "good".
So to ask a stupid question, (or two),
Why does God permit good? (is there even permit?)
Please define "good"?

As an agnostic, good is waking up in the morning knowing all is well. Nothing has dropped off and my family are safe and well. Most other things in life are pretty much insignificant. Thats good. I have felt the pain of bad and evil, but bad aint evil .

According to the dictionary, the word, "good" is the most general term of commendation.
Or do you want me to tell you which things I find are good?
@sometime sun,
"Good" is one of those vague words. But that we use it so much speaks for its usefulness.
