IMO, WWIII began a decade ago. The problem was, that nobody noticed!

From a commenatry in today's Jerusalem Post:

"In fact, the attacks in Mombasa, Kenya, and in Beit She'an represent a tactical escalation and a strategic turning point in this war. Tactically, the terrorists have taken their battle to the air, targeting a civilian aircraft laden with returning tourists. Strategically, these attacks have targeted not merely the State of Israel, but what it embodies and its enemies detest: freedom.

Firing missiles at a civilian aircraft, as the terrorists did unsuccessfully in Kenya, is not only an attack on Israelis, it is an attack on mankind's freedom of movement. And spraying bullets a line of voters, as terrorists did in Beit She'an, where members of the Likud were electing their prime-ministerial candidate, is an attack on the Western, democratic way of life."

The pity of this, is the fact that there have been a maze of SMALL wars going on in this world since the end of WWII & most did not realize this or take notice of it.
True a lot were those trying to being in a Communist form of Govt, but then so many were third world countries with a very different religion & outlook on life to what one would call the Western Countries.
Now it is an outright Muslim war against Western Countries, yet in actual fact there are different forms of muslims & in all rerealitynly the extremests are taking the lead & some others are following in step otherwise they might suffer.

I DO fear that Phoenix has hit the nail on
the head. It has all happened while we were
looking the other way, just like lots of other
undermining things going on in the US, as our
"leaders" believe they are occupying all of our
interest in the "terrorists" or in "the war" or
in something... anything to keep us from
noticing what is going on here, at home.
