I can't post pictures, but until someone comes along who can, I will pose a verbal question:

Where would anyone be going who said they were going "Doon ra watter furra ferr?"

The language is English, but not as we know it, Jim.

McTag: I would guess Millport, Rothesay, or Dunoon?

Both guesses are correct, it refers to the beautiful Firth of Clyde, a favourite destination for workers from Glasgow before the days of cheap package holidays to Spain.

I can't post pictures, and am handicapped by a bad computer. I know, I know, I should stop bleating about it and get a new one.

So you did. I read "I can't answer your question" in that post, and stopped reading at that point.

That sculpture (?) looks like a pair of earrings I used to have.

Is it at the entrance to a museum of mdoern art?

No it isn't satt.
Believe it or not, this sculpture cost around $ 80,000 to
fabricate.

Hi Piffka, I once had similar earrings too - from a local
artist here in town. They discolored though (as every silver
piece does on my skin).

It is not in front of a museum. It was first exhibited
in an wild, crazy event that happens annually. After that
it became a more permanent feature in a city.

No Francis,
and yes Piffka. This sculpture was once displayed at the
Burning Man gathering, before it found its permanent home.

So, do you mostly wear gold, then, CJane? That's not such a bad thing! Very Happy

Yes Piffka, yet I do love silver, and I am especially fond
of the indian turquoise and silver jewelery, but mostly I just
wear a watch and earrings.
