Since when is Manchester "not exactly" in England?
Did Manchester finally declare its independence?
Tico, read all posts after that one...

Er, I did Francis. Still don't understand what you meant. I'm not normally dense, so I guess I could just chalk it up to vagaries of the English language ... unless someone wants to explain further my lack of understanding.
I never thought I'd see Belly Dancing and Christmas/Easter in the same sentence. Walter, I'm shocked.

Tico - When I said "correction Tico, we are in England", I mean I corrected my previous post where I said "not exactly".
Obviously, I must exercise more in English, sorry.

Ah, I see, Francis. We could all probably use more exercise, couldn't we?
I've never seen you hesitate on your geography before, so it never entered my mind that you might have made a mistake.

I can't post pictures, but until someone comes along who can, I will pose a verbal question:
Where would anyone be going who said they were going "Doon ra watter furra ferr?"
The language is English, but not as we know it, Jim.

I cannot answer your question (Scotish?). Has that something to do with Millport, Rothesay, and Dunoon?
But I can ask : where is this place?

Intrepid, we were so busy looking at all the pictures
of the a2k gatherings in London and NYC, we just forgot
wow, that's an unusual picture Francis...
The United States? What's the black thing? A river or
a fault line?
