No. I'd forgotten to look back to see how you folks fared. I'll do that now. Not South Dakota though.

The right answer was "Garden of the Gods" in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Not a very good hint in retrospect.

We came by our answer honestly, Tico. Your hint didn't help because Francis found a different picture where it was called "Cathedral Spires". I am in the midst of planning a family reunion at Custer State Park and have South Dakota on my mind, I guess. God help me-- EEyikes.)

Yeah... we were sure... I was sure, anyway, that it was right. Sorry. Very similar to the ones in the Black Hills, too, though now I can see some differences.

That is such a beautiful amazing place. I especially like the last picture. I once spent the night in the Garden of the Gods, but didn't walk around too much. I remembered the rounded formations like this:
