Good Morning! Wink

The Major Oak, in Sherwood Forest, is reputed to have sheltered Robin Hood and his Merry Men.

I was really hoping Walter would show up as there is a larger oak tree of the same species in Germany. Very Happy

Very beautiful. I miss seeing such old trees. We're predominantely
blessed with Palmtrees which is nice, but these old trees spend a certain
solace and mystery one can draw from.

When I was younger with tons of time to spare, I would paint
trees in every shape and form. I've always been intrigued
by them.

Trees are the best.

CJ, you live in California and could be visiting the big Sequoias on weekend trips.

San Diego to Sequoia/ King's Canyon map, etc.

Is that Germany?

I've been to Joshua and Sequoia Piffka and enjoyed it
very much. You always want to see/have what you can't see/have. Wink We in turn have Jacarandas here that bloom
in May. Their absolutely gorgeous purple petals are just
breathtaking.

It is not Germany or Albania but not too far, right. Wink
